What about overclocking or using a different kernel? I am assuming we can't use a kernel that is currently already developed like matrix or trinity?

If anybody was wondering, here is the easter egg for ICS:

I wouldn't hold your breath on that, we are probably not going to see that until we see an official leak.

i must be confused by this post, is it asking for working 4g on the nexus 4g, or the nexus4g device itself?
i loaded the rom on my sprint nexus4g and it works fine as reported by many people here.

You are both confused. I was making whether beta 3 would be for the Nexus S 4G in addition to the regular Nexus S

Ok, so I have the ICS_ROM.zip file on my sd card and am trying to install it from the Android system recovery screen on my NS4G. Am I doing something wrong because it aborts the install. I'm new at this so bare with me. :)

Thanks for the awesome work guys!
Any specs on battery and quandrant scores yet??

Quadrant is in the gutter right now... I pulled a low low 1900 or something like that....

But at this point were not looking to break speed records, just enjoy what isn't even leaked or official yet.

You need to install from a custom recovery called ClockWorkMod (CWM). In order to put CWM on, you need to unlock the bootloader and install superuser (su)...

See http://forums.androidcentral.com/sprint-nexus-s-4g-rooting-roms-hacks/82261-how-unlock-install-su-custom-recovery.html

Enjoy!

What version of CWM do you have? Make sure you are on the latest version of CWM it should be 5.0.2.0.

Ok quick question. It says put the CWM file in platform-tools and run CMD. Does it mean CMD on the PC and should I create a folder called platform-tools? And yes it's 5.0.2.0. Thanks :)

This is awesome.... thank God I traded my evo for my ns4g..only issue is that the sync icon won't go away.. anyone having this issue?
