Dang! This ROM is AWSOME! Fast as heck! Yeah, can't get the friend stream to do twitter. No big deal as apps load super fast! This is my first time I've tried a new rom since rooting. Will be interesting to see if battery life improves. Thank You to the DEV.
Question: can't figure out how to get weather data on home screen time widget? Just says: "my location".

The dev recommends it. However, I don't if I'm upgrading versions. Just create a nandroid backup and you should be good. I upgraded from v1.0 to v2.20 and didn't do a full wipe and haven't had any problems. You can always just wipe cache and dalvik cache, but not data if you want.

I love this rom!!! the only issue I am having is with the bluetooth. In my car, the phone only pairs to phone and not media. I tried deleting all the bluetooth pairing info with my car and re-paired. Same thing. much appreciation in advance if someone has an answer. Again, I love this rom!!

It's slow here because of the snow, so I installed this rom.. holy crap it's fast. I'll have to play with it some more to get a feel for it, but I love how it zips around, and the cool animations it gives for when stuff is completed (like installing an app).

Chingy has some lockscreen mods in his thread on XDA you can find a link in the Roms HQ thread. To install them flash in recovery just make sure you make a backup just in case.

So I got it installed today, and I am still in the set up phase of the rom, but so far I like it alot.. I may have to get into it and get rid of friend stream and the sprint hot spot.. other than that it is great.. Keep up the good work!

I installed your ROM, but would like to regain use of HTC's Twitter apps & widgets, and the HTC News app & widget.

I've used Root Explorer to copy the following files from /sdcard/Incredibly_Re-Engineered_Optional/Apps to /system/app:

com.htc.NewsReaderWidget.apk
com.htc.TwitterWidget.apk
HtcTwitter.apk
NewsReader.apk

Then, I changed permissions on these files within /system/app to rw-r--r--, changed /system/app back to read only, and rebooted the phone.

After rebooting, I was able to enter my Twitter account information in Settings > Accounts & Sync > Twitter for HTC Sense.

(FWIW, doing this fixed Twitter not showing up in FriendStream, referenced earlier in this thread.)

I can also launch Peep and News from the App tray.

However, when I try to add the HTC News Widget or the HTC Twitter Widget to my home screen, neither of these shows up in the list of widgets.

So, it's almost as if the Apps have installed properly, but the widgets have not.

Can you think of a solution or anything I might be missing here?? Thanks!!

I am still testing the battery life out but seems to be good for me , as far as performance and stablity its great .I also heard an update will be coming soon for this rom over at XDA so look for even better things .

help!

OK so I keep DLing the zip file from the link listed to my Mac, but once the DL finishes the file converts from a .zip to a regular folder. This of course does not allow me to flash the ROM in recovery mode. I've tried compressing the file back to a .zip but that doesn't work and going into the info for the folder and adding the .zip extension doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the file in its original and proper format so I can flash it onto my phone. Thanks in advance

Not sure about this, I thought you could just take the folder and put it in your download folder of your phones sd card, then start rom mgr click on flash rom from sd card, nav to that dl folder and click it and it will start the flash

Edlt: Doesn't work. Just keeps opening the folder. Thanks for your response though. Anyone have any other thoughts/ideas?

Re-edit: So apparently Safari was the culprit. Opened up Firefox and DLed it through there it left it as a zip. Just flashed the ROM and now I'm waiting for it to reboot. Thanks for your time.

Version 2.3 is set to be released today, according to the Dev. Seems like a lot went in this version, cause it has been in testing for awhile. Can't wait to try it out.
