Fixes a ton. Sound is fully working, new CM10 boot animation, semi fixed grid, and there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff too.

PS Here is my revised version of the main post:

Cyanogenmod10, Jelly Bean 4.1.1, Compiled from Source

A number of us have began building jelly bean. I will be working on builds for the Phoenix while Rashed will manage the Thrive builds. Arjen will be around to help us when we need it. These builds are experimental and are NOT ready for daily use, CM10 is still in it's very early stages. Many things will not be working and many things are not yet implemented. Now onto what's working ^_^


What works:
- Wifi
- All Radio's, Including data
- Graphics Acceleration
- Audio
- Bluetooth
- Google Apps using the 7/26 GAPPS build


What doesn't work/ What's broken:
- Camera
- Google Now (Working on a fix)
- ALOT of other things.

At first I used the 26 but just now I flashed the 17, but it still fc's. Should I factory reset?

I think you should have done a complete wipe. Cache, Dalvik, and battery when installing the rom. It's also good practice to reboot the phone between flashes. You can cheat that just by rebooting the recovery.

Only thing I know to do is to modify the updater-script in the rom you want to flash. Look for the assert() at the top of the file and make sure that there are entries in the getprop() for p500, p505, p506. Check out this thread

Download the ROM to your SD card
Download the Gapps zip to your SD card
Reboot into recovery
Take a backup by selecting backup and restore
Select backup
After its done go back to the CWM main menu
Use the install zip from SD card option
Select the ROM zip file
Tell it yes you want to install it
Let it do its thing
Install the Gapps zip the same way
Reboot

I just restored ICS because of too many problems, namely: home button doesn't work, lock screen does not work either, the browser doesn't work, and notifications don't seem to work.

Ok I found a problem with Rashed's P505 CWM, when I backup its not generating the MD5 sums, which is VERY important. I can't restore them now. Is anyone else getting this problem?

Will that affect installing the ROM at all? Because I restored something before and it worked fine.
