Maybe try updating prl and profile before flashing will help

this is kinda a stupid question but: what exactly happens with LOS? i mean i get the litteral meaning but ive had my 3g the entire time ive ran this rom. its at 1 bar or 2 but thats usually what it is at my house..

No data, no voice, nothing. On the stock Samsung ROM, LOS was usually indicated by a circle with a line though it where signal bars would normally be. I'm not sure how the state is represented on this ROM.

For all those with LoS since DK added init.d to the kernel you can flash the LoS fix zip file found on XDA forums to see if that helps. Just search the forum

wait a minute. everyone who has los and u on my gapps or lowrider gapps. lets narrow this down

FF18, Lowrider Gapps, big LoS (though I still had LoS using DK gapps)

Pull it out of whatever ROM that has it and drop it in your ringtones folder. Seriously though, if this is all you can complain about, this build really has come a long way heh.

Finnaly took the plunge for the weekend. Beta 4 with lowrider gapps and fg20 modem. No LOS and GPS was instant. Faster than I have ever seen before. Phone keeps turning on by itself to lockscreen every few seconds. Also, can not seem to get screen rotation to work. maybe just a setting I am missing but I do have setting - display-auto rotate checked. The whole rom is incredibly fast and google now is amazing. Should I try the other gapps? Thanks for all the work!

Flashed Beta 3 and 4 LOS both times running FF18 on sprint. Helped to reboot phone and I got service but then lost it again

]i turned screen off to lock it..screen came back on by itself for a quarter of a second and then comes back on if i let it sit.
dialerdoesnt bring up contacts when i type the letters of their names
got a reboot twice when gong to look at battery stats
doesn't seem as fast as it could be, but its better than beta 3
camera doesnt have many options - gallery doesnt allow video playback after 3 seconds (screen timeouts)
sprint visual voicemail is working fine (from ics fe10)
i flashed from el26 odin on the computer
then flashed ROM, jb gapps7/29, then my voicemail. i will test after i flash the other gapps.

I also have los.I didn't restore anything at all.Also can't hang up the phone

This is very odd because someone reported my EXACT setup (minus mentioning if he restored from TB) and he has no LoS. Then someone else said they restored from TB (different modem though) and did not have LoS.

google play store won't open on beta4. soon as it opens it closes, but no force close notification or error message.

lol could be that i have no signal? duh. wifi won't even connect either

I don't have no LOS and here's how I set up.

Odin back to FF18.
Run Triangle Away.
Odin to Stock EL26.
Use sfhub rooting tool to add CWM.
Wipe everything.
Flash ROM
Flash DK's gapps.
Restart, but pull battery at Samsung Galaxy SII bootscreen.
Go to Download mode.
Odin FG20 modem.
Boot, and no LOS.
