[ROM+Kernel] MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHO (07132013)

Re: [ROM+Kernel] MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHO

I have updated the 06142012 kernel to include the Compass driver fix as well. The sluggish response of both compass and accelerometer are fixed now. See the OP for the download links.

So, I just checked it. Is the file the same name as before?
Here's a pic of my current versions. Is there a newer version?

I didn't change the version number. The current zip file includes the compass update in addition to accelerometer.

Do we flash the 06112012 build then flash the 06142012 kernel over it?

It depends on what your coming from. I've been on mirage for a long time now. An yeah, I flash the kernel over top of mine no problems. But if your coming from something else, its always good to do a wipe. Less bugs. That always solves my issues

Ok thanks. I wasn't sure if the latest build and the latest kernel were together as one download or not. I don't see the link for the 06142012 kernel on the OP, just the 06112012 build.

You can go to the Gthub link in post #126 if you just want to dl the kernel. The newest one is posted there. That's what I did and it worked fine.

I just flashed this ROM a day or 2 ago after having been on Harmonia 2.08. Both these ROMS are great. I'm going to play w/ Mirage a while longer as it is really smooth and fast. Harmonia was too. I just wanted to try something different for a while. ;)

I'm back on mirage. (I can't quit you) I ran your current build all day, of course no problems. I will test your accelerometer fix tomorrow. I wanted to go a day without to have something to compare it to. As usual thanks. And I'm always down for being a test dummy. Its cheaper than donating. :p

Accelerometer is definately better. Especially when I accidentally go in to landscape mode, It flips right back to portrait. Its still not perfect, but I wouldn't expect it to be. It is a cheap year and a half old phone. But it is better

Great job on the kernel mrg666, plus you are right about the governors. I made some simple changes to the Conservative Governor, that seems more fitting for what the Governor does.
Conservative yielded 1.5% per-hour (screen off) with TWS at 54% (the singal in my house is crappy), why Interactive yielded a little under 2%.

Please see the third post. Interactive governor also gives 1.5%. 54% TWS is a very unreliable testing condition for battery life. I wouldn't recommend the conservative governor for MiRaGe.

Can I have a link to ur kernel

True, and it was more of over night thing,

It'll run min480 max 864 interactive with no problem but it will drain the battery. If you dont mind hooking up your charger every 3 to 4 hours this thing is bad a
