ROM Manger goof?

I just rooted my EVO 4G (very cool, ima noob). When I ran the ROM Manger app it was saying i needed to install clockwork recovery even though I already had it before I could do anything with it. I figured it would install a newer version but after flashing it I have 3.0.0.5 instead of 4.0.1.4. Did I make a mistake? How can I get the newer version back? Any problems with keeping this version?

The reason the app says that is because it needs to know you have it installed. The version that you have now will work fine. If you go to his site to download the newest that is the version you'll get.
