My bad, guys, I didn't phrase that very well. I was just wondering, I'm usually around 10-20% battery life by the time I go to bed after a day's worth of usage (meaning, my typical 8am-midnight+ day). I hope that isn't more confusing. xD

Depending on what "usage" means for you, that's quite good in my book. Obviously so much depends on your environment, but that's a very good amount of battery life for the size of our batteries.

I am loving this ROM but experiencing issues that I didn't have with TR 1.8.3. Battery life is not as good. I'm sitting at 60% having unplugged it at 7:30 EST this morning where I'm usually at 80-70%. I do use Juice defender because I am in some areas with low coverage (ie. office with IDF rack that acts like a huge Faraday cage.) No big deal as I always have a charging cable with me. What IT guy wouldn't? The biggest issue is that the icons on the dock reset to default after every reboot. I had it freeze once and dropped it during a dash to shelter during a tornado warning today. That's when I noticed the icons changed. Any ideas? Running namless ROM as is with stock theme, default launcher, and Sprint apps.

I would suggest trying the Rom bare first. Without sprint apps or any other add ons. See what results you get. Then compare that to when you add on additional things as in sprint apps etc...

Asfor the icons, that's another story. I remember someone saying they were having issues with the apps that were on the SD card sticking to the dock. Try it with both types of apps. I personally haven't had issue with dolphin browser ever since I stuck it over the stock browser.... good luck. Let us know what comes of your experience.

That's the thing, the apps on the dock that I changed are Voice, Handcent, and Gmail. All of which are not on the SD card. I'll try using just bare nameless tonight or tomorrow when I get a chance and keep you guys posted.

It's only been 4 days since I flashed NamelessROM, but I can vouch for the seemingly noticeable drop in battery life (at least as compared to the last version of ThunderROM). I'm going to play around and see if it is something I changed, but I did a clean wipe and flash of Nameless then re-installed the exact same apps and widgets I had before and the battery life is down significantly. End of workday I used to be 75% or so with relatively light usage, I walked out yesterday from work with 54% and 47% today both with roughly my "usual" amount of activity.

Anyways, hardly conclusive, it may just be something on my end, and I may just wipe and reflash to see if that helps. But just wanted to chime in with my anecdotal evidence that I seemed to have a similar issue as several others when it comes to lower battery life.

I still believe that my battery is draining a little faster than with thunderROM but I have learned to love this ROM so much that I've come to terms with it. the battery drain seems to be only a little more compared to thunderROM. I originally thought mine was a significant difference and reported it as an issue. I then realized that my WiFi was on much more with the namelessROM. I was fully to blame for that. I decided to do a clean wipe and fresh flash anyway and have noticed that my battery is pretty good with this ROM. especially considering its overclocked and all the extra goodies that we get with it.I would like to know how it turns out for you after a clean wipe and flash.

I agree --- totally worth it even if battery life is a little less! It is extremely well executed, fully featured, very polished, and a pleasure to use! My many thanks to all the devs!!

I'll probably get around to wiping and flashing again this weekend. I'll let you know if my battery issues remain. I left Wi-Fi on all the time with ThunderROM (it seemed optimized for Wi-Fi, if I remember the comments right), so I don't think that's where things changed for me. But again, I'll see what happens this weekend. Either way, I'm extremely pleased with NamelessROM and will keep it as my go-to ROM.

I have found an issue which may be causing battery drain for some. Nick's working on stuff, I'm working on stuff ..... we're working on stuff. No ETA's (don't ask for ETA's :p ) but the next update should fix battery drain for anyone thats having it and probably increase battery for those who aren't.

Soooooo... what's the eta on it? ;)

But seriously I thought I noticed a better battery life with WiFi on with thunderROM as well.

I don't know why I tell you these things when I know you already know it. :p

Improvements on battery life?! I'm excited about that seeing as my battery life now is amazing.. Great job yall!

Awesome work guys! Well I reflashed and have had no issues with buttons, and battery life, even though it is not as good as Thunderom. But dont forget people this ROM is overclocked so I would think that some battery drain would to be expected.

Also tried to install the voice dialer.apk per alternate instructions and not flashing the zip. And couldn't get it to install properly but that was trying to use file expert and not the one in the instructions tho it seems like it worked. Maybe there is another step needed...

Any chance or how-to of how to flash the TR keyboard over to this one instead? IMO, I thought it was a little better of a layout than the HTC keyboard.

I'm finding that my available space steadily creeps down to the point of getting a running-out-of-space notification. When I reboot I have 136MB free space, but when I get the notification I'm down to 15MB of available space remaining. I'm not necessarily concerned, as I can easily reboot my phone every morning to avoid this, but I've never got this notification with ThundeROM while using the phone in the exact same way and I would go a week or more without rebooting.

Anyway, not a big deal, but I was just curious if anyone else was finding this or if there was a reason my memory would creep down faster with this ROM than other ROMs.

I've found the problem, and it is not ROM related. When I wiped data and installed this ROM, I discovered that my normal NPR streaming app was no longer available on the market so I had to find a new one. The one I selected eats up space and never lets go. I'm thinking of restoring my nandroid backup and seeing if I can pull out my beloved discontinued app and then installing it on Nameless ROM.

As an aside, the reason I'm not using NPR's official app is because every time I use it, 15 minutes after I turn it off it starts playing again by itself. Very strange.
