I am good at photoshop and would be happy to edit a .png for the notification background, but I sure as hell can't find framework-res/res/drawable-mdpi or the .png that is supposed to be there...

Titanium will backup your apps and their applicable data (i.e., your progress on angry birds). Use caution when restoring those apps on vastly different roms (android 2.2 vs 2.3) as you might run into issues from time to time.

Finally, regarding contacts, I highly suggest just storing all your contacts in gmail, it makes life so much easier never worrying about contacts being backed up.

Wanted to thank you again for this! I used Titanium before running this and went through my apps, backing them up as needed.

Flashed this guy from scratch, and only had to do minimal setup of home screen and other "minor" things (some program defaults, etc.)

This is butter smooth!

Excellent job, all! :-$

Ok so im havung a little trouble wen I install the noiqagent.zip an reboot it just bootloops at the reborn loggo can any one help
Reflash the ROM, then Reflash the noiq WITHOUT WIPING ANYTHING.

make sure u let the ROM boot up all the way before u flash the noiq

You would have to use Titanium Backup to backup the market links for Android Market, not sure about Amazon though.

Titanium Backup is not working for me at all. First it kept saying that I needed to enable apps to be downloaded outside of market (I already had it enabled), the restarting and installing busybox eliminated that message. Now I can see all of my backups, but they are all crossed out, and I cannot restore them. Neither pressing or long pressing gives me the option to restore, when I long press, I see all the restore options, but they are all grayed out. I can even see all of the backup files on my sd card, just can't get them to restore. Am I missing something simple?

Thx

I don't have any "issues" dude. I'm sorry that I offended you to the extent that you felt the need to lash out with a personal attack, maybe you didn't notice my further explanation:

Wow, let's cool things down. First of all, I don't think he was offended, and secondly, he was not lashing out at you. Your post did seem a bit out of place, and I think he was just reacting to that, trying to be humorous. Born again would be more borderline, but reborn doesn't seem that edgy to me.

Ok people...lets keep the thread drama free LOL :)

I upgraded to "Reborn" V2 last night...love it but my battery seems to be failing me again =( Anyone else seem to be having bad battery life again as opposed to V1??

I don't think this can be right because this rom is too awesome for that! LOL I'm going to reflash again and wipe data this time (didnt do it last time, just flashed right over). We'll see if that works...I hope so!! =)

hrmmm dunno if i should rock V2 or wait for V3. Apparently beezy is joining in on the fun soon so I imagine V3 is just around the corner.

P.S. - Oh and although reborn is much better than nameless i still like anoniROM =P

When I try to enable Portable Hotspot I get a force close (v1 and v2) and lose data connection until I reboot phone. Anyone else having this issue?

I had a lot of problems with Titanium too. Installed it, and started it, and it said I didn't have root. Double you tee eff, I though to myself. Downloaded root checker, and sure enough my root hadn't been broken. Titanium still wouldn't go. I forced it to redownload busybox, and it now recognized root, but no apps appeared. Took a few reboots to fix that.

Mine did, however, restore all my apps in the end. Did you try doing a batch restore? You can do a batch restore and then uncheck all the stuff you don't want...

I use this to backup my apps:

Yep, tried batch restore. I think what happened was for some reason, it didn't back the apps up in the first place, only the data. When I reinstalled most of my apps manually through market, I could restore data, but on the 2 apps I tried it with, it simply broke them (fc immediately), and I had to uninstall and reinstall. So once again, I am disappointed with Titanium; it cost me time and effort, and didn't benefit me at all... :P

this may be a dumb question, but if im coming from v1, do i have to wipe date? i know normally you dont have to too, but it doesnt to not too
