OK quick question just to make sure i don't mess anything up...I want to wipe cache/davilkcahe but not data because Im having some issues w/a couple apps not updating properly, if I do this, do I have to reboot then boot back into recovery again and reflash the NoIQagent.zip again?

No, you can clear them both anytime and it won't mess up your base system install.
Alright a few quick ones here, since I'm too tired right now to think straight....
When I go to flash this thing, if I want to keep my apps, do I just wipe cache/dalvikcache and leave data be?
Is NoIQagent still a part of the ROM, thought I saw it say it was removed in the changelog.
Also, I'm still using Xefies kernel, will this need to change before/during/after I flash to Reborn?

You need to do a full wipe if you're coming from a different ROM. Use Titanium Backup or something of the sort to backup your app data.
NoIQAgent is removed in the ROM. As per the instructions, flash the ROM, reboot into the ROM, reboot into recovery and flash the NoIQAgent.zip that has been pushed to your SD card.
When you flash the ROM, the awesoem picastics kernel will automatically be installed in its place.

Yeah we have some performance intensive tweaks in the ROM currently. I'm just trying to find a good balance between performance and battery life.
alright... will the free titanium do the trick for me? also I'm assuming whatever backup it makes ill have to push to pc before flashing
I use the free version and it works fine. It pushes the backups to your SD card so there is no need to use a PC.
Ok, one last dummy.... after I make the backups, just flash as normal, redownload Titanium and restore?
That is exactly how I did it and everything is running just fine. But don't forget the nandroid backup just incase.

anybody got nameless rom v1 and its noIQagent ??? please post, im thinking of going back to it due to battery life, reborn is a better rom but battery life on nameless lasted the longest for me.

This gives persistently bright buttons, grey gradient background. I also modified the "vibrate" icon with a bit of white edge tracing so it showed up better against the darker background. Looks like this:
Hey guys...thanks so much for all of the work you guys put into this. This was my first attempt at rooting and installing a custom rom. I'm looking forward to learning more as I go along. Just a quick question, is it possible to get those awesome circular volume controls in the screenshot above? Are they included somewhere in the rom already? They look sweet!

They're not in the Rom by default, but if you download that zip and flash it from recovery you will have it.
EDIT: I read that wrong; not having flashed that specific one I'm not certain about the volume controls themselves but the notifications bar will definitely look like that

I think StephenAaron is talking about the ones at the bottom of the screenshot. I am not sure what widget that is.
EDIT: "Volume Control +" it's free in the market.

do NOT use the patch, when u flash reborn, icq.ZIP will be in your SD card, flash the zip not the patch
thank you, i LOVE both roms these are the best IMO but im going back simply for more battery life
My battery is draining bad. 25 % in 2 hours with just a 20 minute call and some WiFi browsing. Will going back to 600mhz for cpu help?
