My battery is draining bad. 25 % in 2 hours with just a 20 minute call and some WiFi browsing. Will going back to 600mhz for cpu help?

That's not an overclocking problem, that sounds like an app misbehaving, or some process stuck at 100%.

If you have spare parts installed, check your battery usage data, see if there's something with really high partial wake usage, network, gps, etc.

Don't know what to say about battery life for others...

I forgot to plug my phone back in last night... so starting from last night with a full charge... it's down to ~ 45% after ~ 22 hours on... some use, mostly data use, and what not today...

Attached is one more data point for unexpected battery usage. Upgraded from the latest THUNDEROM to v2 REBORN. Since I have noticed a faster battery drain than THUNDEROM except for today.

The capture is from today. Usage: took about 8-9 pictures. No calls, and no texts since unplugging. Point is today it looks good, but it seems suspicious both standby and idle times are virtually equal.

I think I am validating your feelings about v2 battery performance in general.

Guessing... Perhaps not sending SMSs or using phone air time has something to do with it behaving well for about 8 hours.

Have used v2 since release.

Now in all fairness.. I know that tomorrow, while at work (in my basement) I'll find my phone down to ~ 35-40% battery left after ~ 9 hours... but I work in a basement, and the cellular signal sucks...

I get much better battery life than my wife seems to get on her stock rom... (she won't let me root her phone)..

I believe this was already answered somewhere in the thread, but i was unable to find it anywhere.

How do I stop my 4 launcher apps from resetting to defaults whenever I restart my phone?

That really shouldnt happen assuming you have set them the way described in post 2.

This is almost a silly question and please don't be offended by my asking it but I want to cover all basis, you are rebooting the phone using the reboot option correct? (I mainly ask to make sure you aren't pulling the battery for some reason, wouldn't make much sense if you were but this could cause settings to be lost that would otherwise be saved on shutdown/reboot)

Beyond that I would also wonder if you flashed this as a clean install or if this was an update over nameless. Also if it is a clean install; I would want to confirm you did a complete wipe first.

Again don't be offended if those seem like obvious questions as they are covered in the OP, just trying to make sure we all understand what your issue is.

EDIT:I should note that I have set two phones up using this rom and different configuration settings, including entirely separate launcher layouts.

Yes I am rebooting the phone using the reboot option, and yes a full wipe was done before installing v2. it seems someone else was having this problem, page 24, and I was thinking that nick responded with a solution but I was unable to find it. As that post said, this is only happening for apps that are on SD card.

Also I am always notified of all of my missed calls after a reboot, even though I was already notified of them before the reboot.

Thanks for the response.

I don't remember seeing that issue but I'll have a look through the thread as well just to see if I can't find it for you.

Otherwise thank you for answering my questions, unfortunately I don't currently have any ideas but as I said I will search through the thread for you.

Ok, since the launcher loads before the SD card is mounted I bet that is the problem. Try moving the apps in question back to the phone, setup your launcher buttons how you want and then reboot. I bet they will stay.

Sadly it's going to say that no matter what your baseband is, cause you have already flashed reborn rom.

What was your previous SW Version and Baseband if you know?

I'm completely positive that it was VD, previous to Reborn I had the latest version of the Scott Pilgrim Rom. Also I'd like to add in that Ev data was working for a couple of days until the Hands-Free Activation popped up and messed it up, now I'm back to no data

Jstntp just told you how to fix the launcher. For the calls, stop clearing them from the notification bar and actually click on it. Clearing them does not acknowledge you missed them, it simply clears the notification that you missed them. You need to acknowledge the missed call by actually going in the call log or clicking the notification rather than clearing.

Edit- I should add that logically, clearing the notification should clear the missed call but android is funny like that and doesn't work that way.
