if im already running 2.1, do I still have to wipe data, cache, dalvik cache before flashing or can i just flash 2.2 over top of 2.1?

I always wipe but that's just me. It's prob safe to flash without wiping.

Make an nand just to b safe tho

I flashed over 2.1 with no wiping..... so far its working great

By the way the visual changes, while subtle, are cool

No, you can just uninstall it right away

Where was the swype apk. Before now that you moved it metamorph cant theme it using Thekravens zips I would like to put it back where it was....

Also after flashing 2.2 when I went back to do a nandroid restore of 2.1 it now saying md5 mismatch and wont let me restore

Did you rename your nanroid or just add anything to file name?
I want to know this too, I love 2.1 but want to try 2.2 but want to beable to revert back to 2.1 if I like that one better.

I did the same thing changed the name and got the same message. Once I changed the name back it worked
