i installed 2.2.4 from a fresh wipe and I am trying to enable the battery tweak but in terminal after enabling "su" and typing in "batt-cfg" i get a message saying that its not found. when i did this in 2.2.3 i was able to get into the battery tweak menu without any problems. any ideas?

Read the battery tweak thread

It might break the rom but you can try. I'm working on a port of the latest reborn for the V so you might want to just wait.

I'm having the same issue, following the instructions in the Colin_ph thread it shows as not active, and the command to start it just gives a "not found" error.

I take it that "disabled collin battery tweak" means that the mod will no longer survive a reboot and will have to be manually restarted each time in 2.2.4??

Alright, let me clarify this for everyone. The main goal was to just add support for the collin_ph tweak in reborn rom. I ended up accidentally making v2.2.3 off of a build I sent to ksmith for testing which happened to have the tweak installed and active. v2.2.4 only supports the tweak and does not have it installed. If you would like to use it navigate to ksmith's thread and read up on it.

Is there any way to get the old Market back? I manually downloaded a couple weeks ago and reverted back to the old one. Now I want to revert back again but it'd not so simple now. I really HATE the new Market. BTW I have the old apk but I'm not having any luck uninstalling and reinstalling the conventional way.

you could delete the new one in the actual update zip. It's located at /system/app/com.android.vending-1.apk

then place the old market apk in the same folder. Boot to recovery, disable signature verification, and flash.

I just tested it and if you follow the instructions in the Collin battery tweak tread, it works just fine after a reboot without having to redo your settings manually. :)

Ok how do I disable signature verification?

Edit: Can I delete the file using root explorer and replace it with the old one?

The latest build is working fantastic, faster and with even better battery life if that's even possible. Thanks Nick!

Oh sorry, forgot to mention that. You are going to want to use your computer to do the update zip editing.

Ok thank you for the quick and courteous help. BTW I have been using this ROM for a couple months and it is awesome. Just wish it was gingerbread. I've had 3 optimuses and keep coming back to them. Sold my EVO came back to my Optimus, just bought a Nexus S last week and guess what I like best? Still like my Optimus. Great little devices especially running Reborn.

Thank you for your hard work, you do a great job.

I was just about to say the same thing. My phone is running so much better on this update it isn't funny. Thank you so much for your hard work.
