OK, got it.

Here's the flashable zip:

This gives persistently bright buttons, grey gradient background. I also modified the "vibrate" icon with a bit of white edge tracing so it showed up better against the darker background. Looks like this:

I can't get the NPR News application to stream my local radio (podcasts work). I followed the instructions to enable stagefright but NPR still won't stream. Anyone else having the same problem?

could you make the blue when off even more lighter than the on, a good stark difference when on low brightness helps!

other than that loving it

+1 for this to be in the v3 reborn!

I was actually trying to figure out how to do that but can't...I'll keep trying though.

Sent from my phone...excuse the spelling mistakrs.

love the rebon rom v2 works flawlessly, i have a suggestion though...i feel all custom roms should be that, custom..im not a fan of the neon green color thats associated with android lol, is there a way to change the green color when selecting things in the menu...? or the yellow color of volume

Very nice work on an outstanding ROM guys! I have a question:

I installed (and since uninstalled) a CPU setting app that disabled the ad blocker feature. Is there a way to restore the ad blocker short of re-flashing?

Thanks!

How are others batteries on this Rom? I'm down to 50 from a day of moderate use and this has never happened... I would just think it's the over clocking but it wasn't this bad on v1. Looks like I'll have to try a clean flash

When you enable/disable vibrate mode from the powercontrol toolbar, it permanently changes your vibrate settings to "Always". I like to keep mine set at "Only when not in silent mode" but as soon as I enable then disable vibrate in the toolbar, it changes it in my settings... Just an FYI for a future release!

It changes to either sound or vibrate. change what this button does with the power control application.

Right. I understand that, but what I'm saying is that instead of, for example, just turning the sound on/off or on/vibrate (depending on the option chosen in the power control app) it is permanently changing/overriding the phones actual settings (Settings > Sounds).

Example:
I set my phone to vibrate "Only when not in silent mode" in Settings > Sounds.
Then I set Power Control to Sound/Silent.
Then I go into the Power Control toolbar and click the Speaker to enable silent mode - it works fine and my phone is silent.
I click it again to disable silent mode - again, it works fine and I have sound.
But when I go back into Settings > Sounds, my vibrate option is now set to "Always".

In other words, it's overriding my permanent preferences for some reason...

Does that make sense? Not sure if I'm explaining it accurately or not?

Like I said though, it's just an FYI and I'm not overly concerned about it. Am I correct that this is a 3rd party app anyway? I'll just get rid of it I think or not use the sound settings in it...

When the toggle is set to silent it won't vibrate so it doesn't matter. But yes, it does over ride that setting.

Update to the weird static ip issue I was having: I reset the phone's cache, data, dalvik. Loaded a copy of ThunderROM 1.8.2 that was on my SDcard. Connected to the router with static ip. Wiped everything again. Flashed RebornROM. Connected just fine. I'm not sure what the issue was or why it was getting hung up on the "obtaining ip address". My only guess is some sort of issue when I originally flashed RebornROM. I do remember that when I originally flashed RebornROM I flashed the old noIQ patch file because it was the only one showing in my recovery menu at the time (I must have too much in my SDcard folder lol). It gave me a boot loop at the RebornROM load screen. My only guess is this was part of the cause. I have no idea what the cause was or what exactly fixed it but I can say that a fresh wipe, revert to old ROM, another fresh wipe and loading of this ROM seemed to clear it up. :D

You guys have really outdone yourselves now. These roms are turning out amazing. Magnificent I think describes it best! And as long as I'm here, ill be screwing something up. ;)

I was having terrible battery life with nameless. Since I flashed to Reborn, I have amazing battery life. Phone has been off the charger now for three hours and down to 99% with little usage. With nameless, I would have been at 90% or lower.
