Re: [PORT][2012/08/11] Cyanogenmod10 Alpha18

Battery life has been okay for me. I've had major LOS though... for me it's worse now than it was in previous builds. But for some reason it isn't happening when I'm at home but it happens almost everywhere if I leave my house and can only be fixed if I reboot or go to Airplane Mode and back. I guess the Tasker zip would fix it though.

Turn off WiFi and reboot and see if you still get los and battery drain with WiFi off.

-AOKP with a Jellybean mutation - FF18 Modem - 200dpi

I have rebooted maybe 12x today, reflashed ff18m, I turned on WiFi as a last resort to get some kind of communication out this device. Airplane mode no working.

Ok for those of you with reboots and los. Try flashing like this.

From Cwm5
Flash chris41g 41-RC-10cwm.zip(ty chris!)
Reboot
From Cwm6
Wipe data/cache/dalvik
Flash rom
Flash OP gapps
Reboot

(or if flashing a modem)
Wipe cache/dalvik
Flash modem
Reboot

Dont restore anything.

Boot into jb
skip setup,
update binary in supersu
Reboot

Let phone sit on for like 10min to settle.

Dont dload titanium backup.

Still getting los and reboots? I was having reboots and los but so far after doin the above (ive been flashing rom from cwm5) everything is great minus the known app issues.

Cleared cache/dalvik/factory reset 3 times before flashing in EL26. Flashed 7/17 GApps, alpha 18. On wifi, no LoS and apps are auto restoring. So far so good.

EG31 modem.

Re: [PORT][2012/08/11] Cyanogenmod10 Alpha18

Hasn't this been talked about over and over again? Many devices with CM10 are also experiencing camera-related problems. All we can really do is hope that DK finds a way to get it fixed.

I know, the app simply is not there. Any way to find an apk?

From what I've heard/read, even if you were able to push a camera app to the device, or download one from the Play Store, there is a problem for the app to connect to the camera and therefore no program will get it to initialize the camera.

Re: [PORT][2012/08/11] Cyanogenmod10 Alpha18

LoS while charging, 15 minutes after flashing. LoS is not reduced as OP says. Hopefully it'll get worked out soon.

Now, I only hope mods don't PM me nastygrams for saying this like they have before.

Re: [PORT][2012/08/11] Cyanogenmod10 Alpha18

has anyone flashed the tasker los fix? I'm getting an abort

I don't think you flash it with CWM. You're supposed to physically unzip the files to the directory it states. Someone also made a .apk file for easier installation.

Re: [PORT][2012/08/11] Cyanogenmod10 Alpha18

I am running A18 and had LOS issues bad, I used the LOS_Checker.apk and data has been good for 2 hours now. i am seeing massive battery drain then 30min later it goes back up.

When using a camera app i get "please close any other apps that might be using the camera hardware".

Re: [PORT][2012/08/11] Cyanogenmod10 Alpha18

no camera app?

no!! There is not a camera app!!! Read through the posts before you say the same thing many others have asked! It is ridiculous the way people show up on this thread and and act so surprised on the issues that could easily be found with a quick skim of the thread...(read before you post)
