I have vlingo and it is decent but it can't talk through the BT headset so it goes out over your phone speaker. I find that it does not activate correctly every time either. Could be my BT headset(using a Blue Ant V1) I guess but nuance seemed to do the trick just fine.

in that same thread, they have a zip to flash with cwm to go back to stock swype, it's towards the bottom of the OP

That CWM file didn't work for me. When i rebooted, I could see and select swype, but it wouldn't allow me to type anything.

Thanks, i tried pushing swype.apk from the older first DL09 rom you posted into system/app, but it kept force closing, so thank you for this. I guess it's because i didn't also push the lib file.

updated and ran this with the 1230 kernel w/out voodoo and its crazy fast no lag at all and battery life is good so far will update tomorrow

That's what I've been running and I love it. I dabbled in some DJ05 stuff with a stupidfast kernel and had alot of bugs. SupahClean with the 1230 Non voodoo is beautiful. Haven't had an issue yet.

I'm not sure but I think my boot animation could be messed up. It shows the Galaxy S animation normally and then loops back through it 3 or 4 times but more quickly. I also have not been able to change my boot animation through CLockwork Recovery Mod.

I am running SupahClean0.4 and Adrynalyne's 12/30non_voodoo.

Help?

Thats normal. As for flashing other bootanimations, it should work fine.


The looping is the bootanimation, unless you prefer Verizon junk

I was originally just going to D/l the OTA from verizon but I keep getting an ip address error when it is trying to load...

Still a no go. I get the sound but the animation is still galaxy s. I previously used an app from the market called "Boot Animation Changer" and I think it screwed something up.

flashed it with cwm, then as i was looking for it in the app drawer, all of sudden the boot animation came up. weird. no samsung logo first, just straight to the bootanim. and it took it's sweet time before finishing loading everything.

but then after it came up Voice Commands was there and i tried a few commands and they seemed to work fine. the Search voice command makes it FC; maybe its tied to Bing?

did another reboot, which was normal, then tried Voice Commands again - CRASH, again, the instant reboot into bootanim with the slow recovery.

like before, Voice Commands worked fine again. did a power shutdown, then started up, and it crashed before it finished the media card scan.

doin a restore now to go back to a point before the flash.

im running DL09 Blackhole 3.0 and your nv12/30 kernel from [RELEASE] DL09 rom, kernel, radio - xda-developers

Question... Using one of JTs kernels combined with his rom allowed for BLN so I would be able to use the soft keys as notifications of messages. Does that still apply? Could I use a JT dl09 kernel and still get that with this rom?
