I think the tw calculator is better than the new one. Don't know of you care to take care of that on the next one, but it goes scientific if you turn landscape. Love it. Thanks on advance of you could make that happen.

forgot about that one, going to replace mine tomorrow, shouldn't be a hard fix if you have the TW calc apk on hand. just use root explorer to replace the current one with the TW calc, no reboot should be required.

I installed the 2.6 and my sparks live wallpaper is now gone. I love that wallpaper and would love to have it back. I tried downloading it, re-naming it update.zip and installing it thru cwm but keep getting a file not found error. How can I get this back?

I anyone else seeing 100% running in Spare parts? I seem to have this problem no matter what I try. Battery is suffering because of it. I have seen wifi doing the same thing but it appears to be turning off now. Phone just won't sleep correctly. I am on 2.6 right now. I might try the new kernel but I wonder if it could be an app I am running? Could it be an app installed but not sowing as running?

ok guys, lets go through this again. if there is something from another rom that you like that isnt in the current rom, use root explorer to open the old rom and navigate to system/app and extract the stuff you want. then copy it to your phones system/app folder. you may need to delete the old apk in some cases(like the music app. if you want the stock, you first have to delete the aosp.)

its possible its an app. your battery is suffering most likely because we are all used to undervolted kernels and thats just not possible with yet as we dont have the source code.

its not the undervolted kernels, i came directly from stock, never used an undervolted kernel and my batter life is about 1/3 of what it used to be. i thought when you cleaned out all the crap it was supposed to get bettery batter life???

I'm 2.6'd, awesome. One thing i miss though, is the icons on the pull-down menu. I liked the bigger icons for rotate, wifi, etc.; that were in the stock build. Is there a way to switch back and keep 2.6?

The TW video player is superior (imo) to the aosp one.

That said, if there is a consensus to remove the touchwiz one, I will do it.

Big thanks to all the devs that put time into tweaking and testing this new release. If you want my 0.02, I would say if it works in TW, keep it in. I have nothing against the AOSP coders, but there are a lot of things TW does really well (the calculator, alarm clock, and video player just to name a few) that AOSP just isnt on board with yet. I know that a 'superclean' build should be as minimal as possible but if you ask me these features are baseline and deserve to be on the phone out of the box (or out of the rom, as it were.)

Easy way to fix that would be to flash one of the themes with the larger icons in the quick panel.

Dumb question but how do you tell if your phone is sleeping or not?

Whenever the screen is off your phone is essentially "sleeping". Pressing the power button will "wake up" your phone.

I get that but I've seen people saying their phones aren't sleeping..how do they "know" that?
