I flashed the new clock work,and tried to flash the new sc2.7.1nv. Add me to the list of stuck on samsung logo. installing old clockwork now to load recovery img because it wont work with the new orange version.

i got it to load on 2.5x..i tried to flash 3x via odin, but no dice. i am REALLY foggy on how cwm actually works...do i have to put a new update.zip on my sd card, or is the one that worked with 2.5x fine? i flashed the link dxcon provided somewhere, the cwmfroyoall.tar or whatever it was. i am just confused on how to get it to work.


never mind, got it...i'm a dope. so not to reiterate the above questions, but themes are a no go until the dev's make 'em compatible with 3x, right?

If you can install the voodoo version with lagfix disabled, why don't people just use the voodoo one. From what I've read, it wasn't giving people trouble. Just a thought?

not everyone wants voodoo, and above that not everyone should voodoo without reading up

Absolutely no need to apologize - cost of doing business as far as I'm concerned (I hope most in the forum share my sentiment). You put in a ton of work to crank these ROMs out - the least I can do is be patient (or flash back, or switch to the DInc for a bit, if necessary)!

right now the only differance is voodoo has a differance filing system. the reason you shouldnt use voodoo with lag fix disabled, it will enable by itself at some point. after a theme flash or data wipe, and then a new thread called "VOODOO MADE MY PHONE DOODOO!!!!!!!!". i am a huge fan of voodoo, buts dans advice is good. dont voodoo until you know what you are getting into.
