Thanks Mike. Cleared cache in recovery again and now widgets work. Yeah, all widgets had quit.

Has anyone else noticed that all the system ringtones and notification tones are doubled after flashing 2.5?

Update: I looked in system/media/audio and they only show up once but still show up as doubles when selecting a new one from the settings menu. I guess its just a bug

its not a bug. did you wipe data and cache when you upgraded? youdont always have to but sometimes things like that happens.

well thats just wierd. reflash the rom.

first try wiping everything again. sometimes you have to a couple of times

I am finding that 2.5 broke Beautiful Widgets. Anyone else seeing this? I sued DroidXCon's odin package.

Beautiful widgets worked fine for me on 2.5 but I didn't use the odin package.

Not sure if I want to flash 2.6 because 2.5 is running like a champ, and not sure if the upgrades are really worth it. Widget Picker is no a big deal for me, and I would want to see the changes to the status/quick panel before deciding whether I should take the plunge.
