Hi Adrynalyne,

Thanks for all the effort and help you have put in to this project, it is greatly appreciated.

I am having a problem-upgraded from sc 2.4 (NV) with the latest build SC 2.6 (NV) via CWM Red. Everything has been running good, yesterday I had reset Battstat and ran fix permissions under CWM, then rebooted. All seemed to be ok, but today I noticed the date somehow was showing as Dec 31-fixed after reboot and also (may or may not be related)....my email sig is not posting, even though it is checked and my sig is in the settings section. Instead my sig shows as "sent from samsung mobile" no matter what I put in there.

How do I get back the original theme that came with sc 2.6... i have superdark v3 and want to revert back. Reflash the entire rom again?

Yes, reflash the rom by itself.

I worked for days to get the unbloated ver of froyo and about gave up untill i read that there was a needed Samsung usb update .. crap after that i was pleased with my conversion.. the only thing that i might consider is getting the EB01/EB16 cross ver..

i have an off the wall question and yes its about my fascinate ..i felt like i had also gotten more vollumn after the upgrade but wonder is there a way to set volumn even higher.. i have the settings already set to wide open..
i can imagine someone saying dad gum is he deaf and my answer would be almost.. thx to all

I'm still having a ton of data connection issues and very poor battery after reflashing 2.6 with ODIN (after my boot loop experience, which turned out to be good troubleshooting experience). Recommendations for fixing?

I'm wondering if booting into Red CWM then...
WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET (what are the effects of this wipe??)
WIPE CACHE PARTITION
WIPE DALVIK CACHE

then flashing just the SC 2.6 ROM (since I ODIN flashed DXC's package for EB01/16 SC2.6 w/dummy tether kernel)... if that would fix my issues? Or just be good for a 'fresh start'. I've been running the honeycomb theme and love it!

You may want to just wipe cache and dalvik then reflash the rom. That's only going to take a few minutes and that way you don't have to reinstall your apps through titanium backup and go through setup again.

Hmm... Makes me wonder if i got a bad flash then. I went from EB01 SC2.4 and flashed DXC's ODIN package for EB01/EB16 sc2.6 w/dummy tether kernel and after ODIN flash, I didn't have to reinstall any apps or anything. My home screens looked the exact same as they did when i had sc2.4 . So just flash the rom?

I didn't see this and hope it isn't a stupid question...do I have to flash the EB01 modem before flashing these EB13/EB01 combos? Coming from DL30.

Sounds like you may have used the ODIN package that does not wipe. I would try to wipe cache and dalvik through cwm, then flash just the superclean 2.6 rom by itself. You can find the rom in Adrynalyne's thread:

Yes, if you are coming from DL30 you will need to flash the EB01 modem through ODIN, boot directly to recovery, then flash one of the EB01/EB16 combos in red cwm. Make sure you have red cwm before you start and that you are not running green cwm. You will not be able to flash the rom with green cwm.

I used your Odin package to install...does that change your answer?

If not, that's fine...I'll flash the modem, then the ROM then the kernel....

What is different in the dummy tether kernel? Does it re-enable wifi tethering?

Adrynalyne, jt1134, and other devs think this MAY allow wifi tethering without detection by verizon, but it is still basically use at your own risk.

I don't have any ODIN packages. You must have used one of DroidXcon's ODIN packages. Are you sure you are still on DL30? DroidXcon does not have any ODIN packages for DL30, he just started those for EB01

Oops...my bad. I'm getting you brilliant peeps confused.

I'm straight now...I just went ahead and flashed the modem in Odin and the rom and kernel in recovery.

Ok, good. That still doesn't answer my confusion about you saying you were on DL30 and used an ODIN package to get to it.
