I'm on SC2.4 voodoo (working great) and I want to move up to 2.7 voodoo but I definitely want a backup to fall back on. So...
What version of CWR can I make a backup in and, more importantly, what version of CWR do I need if I want to restore a backup? Are they one in the same? I currently have red CWR 2.5.x. for all ROMS but it sounds like I may need the new orange one. Thanks to anyone who can clarify.

No need to do that bro, if it wasn't for you in the first place are phones wouldn't be running as good as they are now, the way they were designed to at their full potential, or even have Froyo for that matter. Hell if we all had to wait on verizon we would be able to buy the Galaxy S II before the Froyo OTA came out for the fascinate. So thanks again.
You will have to read what the developer has specified as the script to flash the ROM.. Currently Adrynalyne has set his patches up to be flashed in CWM 3.0.0.8... The themes that are currently available for EB01/EB16 will flash in 2.5.1.x.
As the developers roll out their next generation of releases they will be in the format that will be flashed in 3.0.0.8..

i think imma stay with 2.6 dont wanna take the chance having to odin again. i actually like 2.6
My apologies. 2.7 has been yanked completely. Too many issues between non booting and not being able to convert or disable voodoo. I am very sorry. I need to go back to the drawing board.
Red cwm and 2.6 should be kosher. For any of those I caused to Odin...I am so very, very sorry.
So 2.7 nonvoodoo is a no go for now good thing I didn't download it at work.

Guess I got lucky as it's running flawless for me coming from 2.6 voodoo with the EB16 kernel. I flashed from Jt's modified nonvoodoo/voodoo cwm
Aaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!! What a jerk!!!!!!!!!! Adrynalyne made me brick my phone!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had my phone since november and i have never ever bricked it before now!!!!!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey if it was for the both of you I would have never rooted or even modded my phone. Hell I was even envying those that went and got an Iphone. Now im so damn happy that I made that leap that now Iphone users should envy my phone now! and its all thanks to you guys the pioneers of fascinate modding!
