Yes you can bet on it that once the official Froyo is released all devs will grab the "framework" from the official ROM and incorporate that into their ROMs. The EXT4 filesystem is an add on done threw CWM/OneClickRoot and not part of the ROM.

That is great. I asked about the EXT4 because while I was upgrading I did the ClockworkMod3 install and then tried to boot my phone to the DK28 ROM. It would not boot. So I assume that the new release, whenever Sprint/Samsung bother to release it, will also not boot and we need an updated TrulyEpic ROM to get the released Froyo.

Yes once your on the EX4/CMW3 setup you won't be able to boot up to Stock Froyo or a ROM not supporting CWM3. You needed a CWM3 supported ROM to flash to complete the setup/install process.

Is anyone else getting really really good battery life with this Rom? My wifes Epic is getting better battery than my Seidio 3500 extended battery on the Evo. Her last charge lasted for about 28 hours before hitting 15%. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this??

Yeah standby mode is amazing- so if she's anything like my wife and barely touches the phone except for a few sms and phone calls- it SIPS battery while in sleep.

Not sure if it's the rom or the DK28 but in sleep or non processing mode it must underclock. Run Quadrant- when reviewing the summary it says the current speed is something like 200mhz.

DK28 was a complete battery hog for me. This ROM is amazing. Its really impressive.

Oooh, fiddlignwith the phone i kinda found/stumbled on taking a screenshot with the utility that comes with froyo , if u go to the running services you might have it on, if not, click and hold the closing (App Closing button the curvie arrow one) and POW! the service will show up, now im not sure how i did it,but i was able to take a screenshot of the homescreen, the phone while browsing the market place froze so i was pushing the closing button and also home and the settings button but it was still frozen so is started to tap the closing button, and it took a screenshot.Now the combination exactly i have not a clue , but its there!

Holding the backkey and hitting home will take the screen shot. Problem is that the backkey will do exactly what it says and return to the previous screen in most cases so this method of screen shots doesn't work very well. Try downloading screenshot from the market.

Try opening your keyboard and hold down the backkey (left side next to function) and then hit your home key on the keyboard. I know it works here while viewing the forums.

It works, but opening the keyboard forces the screen to enter landscape mode. +1 on using screenshot. Shoot me is a good one too, it lets you do vidcast on your phone as well (I haven't tried it yet though).
