Sorry, I was only commenting on the flashing multiple zips b/c I was nutz to do it and surprised to find it worked flawlessly! Of course I wiped everything 3x, etc, etc and only did the addons after the initial flash/reboot. I definitely agree that your recommendation and process make for a much smoother transition for those unfamiliar with the flashing process (which I was a week ago ) This is just a testament to the stability of the ROM and the work you guys have put into it - Dev and Support.


One issue I am seeing. Running Mini Theme 1.5 - my battery NEVER goes above 96% even after a 24hr charge. I have reset, reflashed, toggled Airplane on/off, all radios off, and it never seems to go to 100%. I even went so far as to install JuiceDefender to monitor and control the battery usage. This works like a charm (especially on battery when the screen is off or phone is idle); however, the battery still never goes above 96% on home screen while plugged in.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the compliment and understanding. The credit goes to Ragnarokx, I just helped out on testing and input. Did a little modding on the Mini Theme to create v1.5. We do owe a lot to you guys to for all your feedback to work out the kinks too.. Thanks.


Ya those 1% bat mods are picky little buggers. Mine does it too from time to time.. Seems like if I unplug then plug back and it usually will pick up that few extra percent. Even stock battery meters do that if you pull up your battery stats, they always hang up at 96 or 98 percent.

Hey paul quick question about restoring back a backup
Let me know if the steps i took rae correct

I did a backup of my rom/ect.. before i installed Launcher Pro which btw didn't work for me :/ i don't know why.

So i went and wiped x3 before installing the TER 1.2 rom again
then click backup and restore, and restored the whole backup i recently made.
Is this correct?

Yep that's it. You could of skipped the TER flash because the full restore in CWM would of taken care of that for you but that's okay. Everything else good.

BTW, Launcher Pro should of worked, not sure what you did wrong.

Agreed. I wouldn't have flashed this ROM if LauncherPro didn't work on it. In fact, LauncherPro has worked better on this ROM than stock. Smoother app scrolling, and less power hungry.

I recall you mentioning that you had a mess of problems installing it on TER. What exactly did you encounter?

I haven't seen this in the thread for a couple of weeks so I'm wondering if there has been any progress on a battery only mod compatible with CWM3 and ext4. I really like the circle theme batteries but I've not found a compatible one. I know it is part of the themes on page one but I prefer the stock theme for everything except the battery. Any help is appreciated.

This is a great ROM and big thanks to RAG and Paul for their work.

not sure what is happening really, thanks btw i didn't know the restore could also restore the whole thing I'll keep it noted! ty, so basicaly i could make a backup of different roms( if i get to use any other ones) and not having to reinstall them as base? cool!

About LauncherPro, what i did was, Market _search_LauncherPro-Install-Restart phone

Then im greeted with the Lil android being poked,plus a FC screen that launcherpro failed, then i gotta put my gmail account ect..
I could record this if u want me to?
But this is what happend, then the vanilla launcher that comes with TER
got a reset from all this, and the icon's and widgets where removed .
Is this normal? or it shouldn't have happened? because this never happened to me in stock eclair.
I haven't tried it yet, but possibly after installation i gotta place LauncherPro as a DefaultLauncher then restart the phone?
hmm gonna try it later on if thats the case.

Launcher Pro should install with no issues. I downloaded it from the Market and installed with no problems. All I did was goto Settings>Applications>Manage>AMLauncher>clear default browser setting.

Then when you hit your HOME button you will be asked which Launcher you want to use/make your default.

Also you can download Home Switcher from the Market, it makes managing multiple launchers easy.

So ProTip for them new to TER nd getting LP After installation, get HomeSwitcher for Froyo and reset defaults, then add LP(LaucherPro) as your default, restart the phone, and bam! no errors as i used to have before !

What you're doing sounds pretty normal. I know LauncherPro does have some problems with FC on other phones, so I don't believe it is this ROM.

I've read in other posts that sharing widgets across different launchers may cause problems. What you can try to do is first remove all the widgets from the AMLauncher. Then install LauncherPro and set it as the default. Restart and see if you still get the FC errors. If you still get errors, try opening task manager and make sure both launchers are closed then open LauncherPro again. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I pulled the blue circle battery mod out of midNIGHT theme for you. Its the same one used in Mini Theme v1.5

Blue Battery Meter (Flash in CWM3.0.0.5)

Sounds like you need to Odin the DK28 Modem. Did you just come from Eclair prior to installing this?

yep thats exactly what i did, and didn't get any FC's restarted the phone 5 times just to make sure !
