I typed in Wireless Tether in the Market, up popped Wireless Tether for Root Users by Muller, Lemons and Buxton. Works perfectly fine on Windows Vista 32 bit. Had it up and running in less than 5 minutes.

Also is the other app listed in this thread under related items . Barnacle WiFi Tether. I have them both but have only used the first one mentioned.

Yep, worked great for me too. Thanks. I like to ask first because I don't like installing a lot of software but the package you mention seems to work well at my first test. Was able to connect securely with my laptop and use the phone's Internet connection.

If I remember someone else used it but had problems. Not sure if it was related to this ROM. You could give it a shot, make a quick backup in CWM and MyBackUp before you install it just to be on the safe side.

Update: Yes it works fine, I happened to look in my apps list and saw I had it there! (Forgot I installed it awhile back while on a different ROM).

Hmm, I'm not sure why only Mini Theme would get your the AM Launcher. After flashing TER, AM Launcher should be the default launcher regardless of themes. I believe the only way you can get stock Epic TouchWiz Launcher back on your Epic is to flash the Sprint/Touchwiz Apps add-on from page 1. I don't believe there is an equivalent launcher available in the market. Of course I could be wrong.

I just tried Wireless Tether on my phone, and it works great so far on this ROM. In fact, I think I like this more than Barnacle.

Is there a link that has more details and/or screenshots of the add-ons from post #1? There are a lot of them that sound interesting, but I'm unsure if its worth going through the process of backing up and flashing them on. I see that some of the theme's has more information, but the other add-ons do not.

You don't have to re-activate your phone. Once your phone is active, it's active.

Make a backup of data using MyBackUp or Titanium for your important data. Also a quick backup in CWM just incase.

Wipe 3x and flash your new ROM. Android Setup Wizard will restore your apps/settings and then do your data restore from MyBackUp or Titanium.

No need to backup since you have nothing to backup. This should definitely be the smoothest flash.
