[ROM] TrulyEpic Rebirth v1.5 AC - no planned EB13 update :'(

I do like Mini Theme 1.7, however, I do not like the Black Dialer. I thank you for all your work but is there anyway to revert it back to the regular dialer?!

I tried moving my memo from samsung stock apps to system/ apps then rebooting and nothing is there. So I tried other samsung apps and none of them are installed after reboot either. So I then tried clicking on the file while still on the sdcard without moving to system/apps and it will let me install some of tha apps that way. I'm trying to get my memos to work. Not a big deal just trying to get it to work. Everything else with ter1.5 is working great. Did the auto backup version. Runs faster than before. Thanks

Just wanted to say, after using this ROM for the last couple of days, I would be happy if I never got to flash another ROM again. It's significantly more responsive than TER1.2 (which was already snappy), and my battery life has been noticeably better as well (at idle I lose about 4%/hour instead of 5-6%/hour). Thanks for all your hard work Rag & Paul!

I just wanted to ask a quick question.... was apps2sd built-in to this ROM? I believe I read earlier that it wasn't. I'd like to free up more space, as I'm running out of it....

I just used Root Explorer, moved memo.apk and myfiles.apk to /system/app - they immediately showed up in the applications list and are fully functional (didn't even reboot).

What file explorer are you using? Did you double check that the files were successfully written to /system/app ?

Go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications>(app you want to move)

If the app has it enabled, the Move app to SD button will be lit up. Press to move.

Apps2SD is a froyo feature, which would make no sense removing it from TER, so to answer it, yes it comes with app2sd ;)

Just wanted to say this is an amazing rom, and I've finally fallen in love with my Epic. It's essentially what I always expected it to be, and ironically that came from a dedicated community instead of the manufacturer.

Endless thanks, and I agree with Jinded, if this was the last release I ever saw, my Epic would die with a happy owner!

Yeah, I realized that. With my evo I was running Cyanogen mod and I could move some of the apps the developers didn't enable for apps2sd to my sd card. I had my card partitioned and didn't know if cyanogen's feature was in this rom as well because I read earlier of someone who had partitioned their card too. I was only wondering why they would partition it when apps2sd is enabled via froyo anyway. Guess I'll have to slow down with so many apps now....lol :)

I used es wich was included with the rom and I copy memo.apk and past it on the phones system/app and when I open the folder the memo.apk is there . If I click it is says there's An error parsing the file. Exit out or reboot and it just isn't installed. Unless it ain't copy and pasting correctly with es . I can't find an option to just move the file so I copy and paste

Does anyone know if you can get AllShare with Truly Epic. I use it all the time with my A/V reciever.

Reboot the system, connect your phone via cable for mass storage so you view the sdcard with Windows and see where you dropped the file at. Possible you dropped it into a folder on your sdcard. ?

Once you established that you can go back to ClockWorkMod.

You need to enable the root explorer feature in ES. Go to: Menu>Settings>Root options and check both boxes. When it asks you which ROM you're on, choose Cyanogen. This will allow you to copy apk files with executible permissions.

Ok i see what i did. i guess the epic rebirth rom file i downloaded just downloadedas a html document or file. ive tried using the links to download it but they all keep saying "congradulations you won a reward choose between 1000$ gift card or a new droid x phone"

also i restored back to "before ext file system" and the phone still sticks on the samsung screen.

If i find the correct rom file what will i have to do to convert it back to ext file system since i already tried recovering it multiple time back to the way it was before i installed clockwork and oneclick root thing?

I found the correct link and i now have the correct epic rebirth file saved to my sd card as a zip file.

But i did all the recovery options in clock work " recovery before ext file system etc.."

now that i have the correct rom file how would i put my phone back to EXT file system? with clockwork.

Also (after i did all the recovery options) it gets stuck at the samsung loading screen when i reboot.
