Trust me I felt the same way last night. Its so easy. Just follow the steps on here. Its allll right here. If you can't figure it out send me a message on here (and ill give you my email to talk faster than on here). I was nervous and clueless. Its so easy. And I'm so glad I did. Wish I had done it months ago.

And I can't get my gps to work. What's the best way to do it?? (I'm fully clockwork backed up too).

Lag rotation? I think I know what you are talking about and how to fix it. Are flying games like winds of steel affected at all? if so then I tink I am understanding what is going on. Every time I fash a froyo rom I have a slight lag in rotation and in flying games the plane don't fly right. To fix this i have to calibrate sensors not by using the option in settings but by downloadin android terminal emulator by jack something. then follow this

Type: su then hit enterand allow the app root
Then type: /system/bin/sensorcalibutil_yamaha and hit enter then just folow directions. Exit app turn off screen, turn it back on and then it should fix the lag

when i download the run bat it says armb5 is missing what do i do?

Can you post a screen shot or copy and paste from the command terminal?

I wanted to jump in on the Bluetooth issues above. I have tried pairing with 3 models, 2 worked, one doesn't. And it works on hubby's stock Epic so not the Plantronics, its my phone. No big deal, but looks picky on pairing.

Battery Mod Warning - my phone has been running great. Tried to install, had issues, had to reboot. Decided to try again - my phone is screwed, so my suggestion is NOT to install. I had to reboot through Clockwork, it just kept looping. Whenn it finally came up, reading very wrong from where I started or it drained the hell out of battery, don't know. I am deleting and might have to completely wipe and reload rom, its acting that bad.

So will be waiting for battery mod from you as noted above.

I think the BT problem may be a Froyo thing - a lot of people have had problems on Froyo with BT headsets.

I'll have something up by tonight as far as the battery mods.

Can anyone please direct me to a way where i can start the process of rooting to this from the beginning please?
I am a Mac user.

after installing this i am having network problems.. It keeps flashing in airplane mode so i am getting no service error message.. Anyone else having this prob or know how to fix.. I click it off of airplane mode and it goes right back into it

What version os were you on when you started this procedure? Eclair 2.1 or Froyo?

If it is giving you a no service error and flashing airplane mode it sounds like you don't have the DK28 modem installed.

GPS can break at any time with any ROM - just a problem with the base Froyo system. See this thread to fix it.

Sorry, LP widgets only work with LP. You can either find equivalents in the Market, or switch to LP.

Gps works great for me

Sorry, I just read the "Issues" portion at the beginning. In the process of flashing now. Appears others have it working now.

GPS is critical for me with my workout routine. This phone is junk to me without it.

In need of some help... I have cwm3, and I put the trulyepic zip on my SD card, so I go into cwm3 and try to flash... it automatically backs up my old ****, and converts to ext4 without me doing anything, then I can't find the trulyepic file that I put on there. So right now, my phone is pretty much stuck. Tried to restore back in cwm3 to no avail, no idea what to do now. I'll turn my phone on and it just sits at the samsung screen.
