yep. Wireless Tether Version 2.0.6
Thanks. I found it in the market but my company laptop won't allow me to connect to "computer to computer" networks...only infastructure. Is there a setting that changes this or perhaps another application?
Sorry to ask so many questions I'm really new to this rooting thing.
This is not isolated to TrulyEpic Rebirth. My wife is running Bonsai on her phone and the same thing happens. I'm starting to believe the dialer pad isn't intended to show in landscape mode because it wouldn't fit the screen.
Paul, i got an ipad to connect just fine... so that might be a bit out dated.
What version of Wireless Tether are you using that allows infrastructure mode?
Oh no its definitely not isolated. Its on stock as well. There's plenty of room in that empty space to render a dialer pad.

IDK, the current version? my ipad connected just fine. I enabled encryption, set the ip range to .1.0/24 in the LAN setting, changed the channel to 6, and everything connected just fine...
Where did you obtain the version your using I think is what Ragnarokx is also getting at.
ooooh, idk its version 2.0.6, i'd be more than happy to post it up if you guys need =)
Hey so I think I isolated the cause of the wifi issue. Fresh install of ter 1.2 and never using and later removing the wifi status app has done the job for me.

Looks like that's the Market version. I just updated and was able to tether my iPhone 4 (don't hate, I only use it as an iPod) without a hitch. Awesome, I guess they enabled infrastructure mode for us but didn't put it in the change log.

Hmmm.....I'm using the same application and can't seem to find a setting that will enabled infrastructure mode.
Maybe my company laptop is just locked down....i don't have trouble connecting to any wifi connection usually.

i had a simmilar problem at first, try tweaking the settings a bit.
1. Enable the encryption, leave the pass word as is
2. change the LAN ip setting to 192.168.1.0/24 (first option)
3. change the channel to channel 6
and give it a go =)

Nope. Still comes up as "Security Enabled Computer to Computer Wireless Network"
:-\
Your company computer must have something running that has it locked down.
