I've seen a couple of places that have the apk for the gtab email. It seems they have worked some bugs out of it however it wasn't for the epic.

Are apk files tailored specifically for devices?

can we post a link to download the gtab email? I know it is in the ROM but since I couldn't get it to work (Connection Error) I installed FroYo email. I would like to give gtab email another shot.....

you can pull it out of the ROM.

Explore the "TrulyEpic Rebirth v1.2.zip\system\app" its probably the app called
"Email"

I figured it out. It"s the AVG antiviruse options the puts that on your lock screen.

I have a question. On the lock screen under the time it says belongs to: How do I put my name in or what ever I may want to put there?

If you could provide a screenshot of what your looking at maybe I could help. I don't have anything like that on the lockscreen on TrulyEpic Rebirth.

Truly Epic ROM home screen lag?

not sure if anyone else is having this problem.. but ever since installed the truly epic rom, ive had some serious lag when i press my home button. screen remains blank for about 5-7 seconds, and sometimes nothing pops up at all, so im forced to press my app button and load my home screen that way. anyone else have this issue? anyone know how to fix it? any help would be appreciated.

I had this exact same problem too. I've switched to Launcher Pro and it seems to be a bit better.

@TheCrazy88, yep thats it. Honestly I figured it was the antivirus the day you posted it and for some reason or another I was side tracked and forgot to respond to your post. Sorry about that. Things get busy around here from time to time.

No problem you help everyone so much I can understand its easy to get side tracked. At 1st I thought it had somthing to do with the theme that's why I was asking. So thanks for your time and keep up the good work.

Ok...got exchange email working....no luck with the visual VM.

Rabid just curious how did u get exchange working? And did u get it fully working or r u still getting nailed with "the connection error" every once and a while and have to manually delete the emails from server one by one til you "find the problem email". Finally got fed up with that myself and went back to stock. Pity too cause the Gtab email client really is sweet....

I have had this happen a few times to me as well. wonder if it has anything to do with apps being on sdcard with widgets?

Hey so I think I isolated the cause of the wifi issue. Fresh install of ter 1.2 and never using and later removing the wifi status app has done the job for me.

Ok so here's the deal. If you are having wifi issues wipe everything clean as possible within clockwork 3 and then start fresh. I did a restore of apps through google market and then 3rd party apps (but apps only) through titanium. I did not restore wifi ap passwords. I entered all passwords manually. I then immediately uninstalled wifi status 1.0 through titanium.

I was having mad wifi issues and this fixed it for me. 7 days now and everything smooth. I will do a nandroid backup first and see if Juice Defender breaks this or not. Personally I like the app and want it to work.

That sounds much more plausible. It's one of the reasons I added the big red note in post #1 not to restore any backups, especially settings related =P

And the plot thickens. After 7 days of no issues, used airplane mode and now immediately afterward the bug is back.
