Thanks, that seems to have worked. I was using the Extended version of the Froyo release. I was able to proceed with CWM3 once I put back in original Froyo leaked release.

sorry this may be a stupid question but you mentioned to uninstall wireless tether as it will be in the TER 1.5. my question is how exactly do we activate it, as I can't seem to find any setting or program installed to turn it on and you mentioned not to touch the sprint hotspot. Thanks for the help and can't wait to start using the new rom.

Thanks Rag for v1.5. I haven't downloaded yet, will try it after work today. Sad to hear you stopping development on TER. You did some great things when the torch was in your hands.

So whats the verdict? I haven't heard any reviews on this newer version.

Look on your SD card using Astro or Root Explorer. TER (Extras) have been placed there during the installation.

Just looked for it and couldn't find it, i am new to root explorer but I drilled down like you said and did a search for wireless and tether and both together and no luck maybe I'm doing something wrong but I can't find it anywhere.

Actually Paul I made a change since the beta version.

"WiFi Tether" will be preinstalled in your apps. Use it like you would the old Wireless Tether app.

Screen rotation lag fix works fine on both versions. I just used it again when we did TER v1.5.

Note: when it says to place in horizontal position to calibrate I lay the phone down with keyboard open on its back and I steady the phone while I press enter to calibrate. Exit app then press power to sleep for a sec then wake the phone and everything is fixed.

I just looked in the ROM and it's there. It appeared on my system fine when I flashed the ROM.

Unless you uninstalled it post-flash, it should be there. Here is the apk if you need to reinstall it.

Anyone who has flashed the TrulyEpic Rebirth Mini Theme v1.7 and doesn't like the "Black Gmail" due to some messages being harder to read, I have provided the updated GMail with the Black GMail icon only. The rest of the Gmail app will remain stock theme.

So quick question. I have 1.2 with a gingerbeard theme and it works great(Although I had a little mishap yesterday where it went into a boot loop, but I restored a nandroid that I had before the gingerbeard theme and it worked fine again and it did that because I let the battery drain). Now I see 1.5 came out. Can I just download the ROM and flash it and it'll be fine or is it suggested that I backup data, wipe3x, blah blah, restore? I don't mind doing this, although it's be faster to just flash and update, but I have no problem doing the whole wiping again.

Again, I just wanna know. Thanks.

Paul- when I flashed 1.7 theme, it put in Galaxy Tab email- but the stock 1.5 TER had the froyo one... wasn't expecting the theme to replace the app.

Ragnarokx- LOVE the new backup/restore baked in feature! Made flashing this a cinch! Love the cleaned up boot and shutdown animations now it looks legit- the laggy S animation of TER 1.2 made non rooted friends wonder if the ROM was slowing down the phone. (Dumb, I know!)

Love the fact that all the flashable mods I applied to 1.2 have now been baked in! (Stock email, power toggle, Sprint Voicemail, etc) And the gallery now works sooooo much faster than 1.2 (either version)

@brandonc, sorry about that. Actually that was a mistake on my part. You can flash the revert to Froyo from the 1st post. I will make the fix when I get back home and switch out the email apps in the Mini Theme v1.7.

This version will not auto backup and restore your data. If you are having problems with force closes, wipe and then flash this version.

Hey, just installed TER1.5, coming from TER1.2. Everything works great, except when I try to start WiFi Tether, I immediately get a FC. I did uninstall Wireless Tether before flashing. I've tried going into Applications>WiFi Tether and wiping data/cache, but there is no data to wipe. Using Titanium Backup to wipe data as well doesn't do anything.
