I was wondering how I could get the original voicmail back on my phone from 2.1, the one where the voice messages saved directly to the phone rather then having to call in, don't know if this was a samsung, sprint, or android thing.

Update to my Wifi Tether woes.

With all the problems I was having Friday with Wifi Tether, I seem to have stubbled upon a possible answer if there is anyone else out there with similiar, unexplainable issue.

After doing a complete wipe and flashing to TER1.5+MT1.7 I was still getting a lot of force closes and the Wifi Tether app (after the fix) would just reboot the phone upon execution. Just before leaving work and heading to drill, I went into the Wireless Tethering thread and found the link to download an older version of Wireless Tether.

WITHOUT uninstalling the Wifi Tether app (yellow icon,) I installed the (green) Wireless tether app on top of it. Upon starting the "Green" app, it came up with both icons, threw some warnings at me, initialized, and now everything in the world is in harmony... Meaning I don't know why in the h3ll that worked, but it did, and I'm not going mess with it anymore!

Thanks to those of you that put up with my drama... again.

And a quick question; Does Estrongs File Manager have any significant advantages to Root Explorer? Just wondering since I've already paid for Explorer.

Visual voice mail? I believe that is what your looking for.

I think Root Explorer still outdoes Estrongs File Manager. I think ragnarokx provided that because its user friendly and also free and will do the job at hand. For more advanced users I think Root Explorer is still the way to go.

This is one option I still like about Estrongs File Manager, it has a very easy to setup LAN access. I have used it many times to transfer stuff from my external backup drive connected to another computer in the house via my wireless router.

I think I might have mentioned this in an earlier post about swtiching to the old Wireless Tether and having no issues. That is what I did because I can't seem to get Wireless Tethering version 3.0 pre3 to connect to my laptop.

Did anyone elses hulu app quit working? It was working last week then I had to reinstall everything because I was getting alot of weird FC's all of a sudden. When i go into Hulu now it tells me its not supported on my platform.

Have you both tired rebooting into CWM and select Fix Permissions??

Then try to reflash the Hulu app.

Yes just finished trying that and no dice. I can open the app and start to play a video but after it loads a few seconds I get the message its not supported on this platform. Is yours working still Paul?

Sorry I have never used Hulu. I'm just going off previous information from others. I know if you update the Flash Player after installing Hulu it will break the program.. That much I do know.

Not a problem thanks for the reply. No I didn't update flash I'm running 10.1.105.7 and the new one in the market seems to be 10.1.106.16. If anyone else can confirm that theirs is working then I will know its just me and I need to do some troubleshooting. I know it worked for me before at some point. I can't remember if I was on 1.2 or on 1.5 when it did though. I tried to install an app from the site today and had no luck.

I tried logging out and back in to google talk

I also cleared cache and data from market through app managment.

Is this a problem with v1.5 (because I read the instant installs only play well with certain ROMs) or is everyone getting this to work just fine and I just need to do something to my phone.

I just had this issue as well, further more, when i tried to reset the device during an app install, all of my data was wipped, and all of my open apps/widgets gave me fc errors... if any one else has had this problem speak up.

None here... Things have been running very solid since I had my one FC back the day after TER 1.5's release when I was doing some testing.
