Not sure if that link will work right as I am posting it on my iPad (no haters now). It's in the main thread. Just wipe cache and dalvik and apply the fix. Worked like a charm.

Also it sounds like a new baseband got found with cheesecake that looks like it will be part of the official release from Motorola. It appears to upgrade the LTE in some way. I gotta hand it to Motorola ... They may have a locked bootloader, but they make and update radios like no other manufacturer. As normal I will wait a little while on this one for a zip to get released. I don't want to wipe with everything working well for me.

Hmm. I flashed the fix, but my Gmail is still out of whack. I just bought a toy on eBay, and the receipt came in. Only half the lettering was legible. Black on black :/

Oh I hate the blacked out gmail, if that's what's causing it there's a mod in the bionic box you can download and flash to get stock gmail back I do that.

For the OTA update? You will probably get a notification when it's released but if you're running the ROM then all the bloatware is off your device (among other reasons) so it won't let you install the update. You have to be fully stock to get it.

You can do it on your own if you like.. follow the instructions and you'll be fine. I wrote them out for someone right here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/bionic-rooting-roms-hacks/129884-2-root-not-2-root-redux.html

Read it through carefully, make sure you follow directions, and you can update your phone and be back on Th3ory's ROM inside of 30 minutes. Have any questions, ask

Okay thanks. I guess I need to clarify. The OTA will keep giving me notifications of update or am I already ahead of the game??? I had my old Ally rooted and had Frunisher ROM on it. Would keep telling me to update. Couldn't because of the ROM I guess... Got irritating after awhile :-(, just don't want that happening to my new phone

Well if there's ever an OTA doing that, you can always flash back to stock and then get the OTA. Just want to wait until the dev's can confirm you can keep root access after applying the update, which they should have figured out well ahead of time since they get all the updates far ahead of release.

He switched the ROM to SHIFT3R now...but it's basically the same thing with a different name. I do like the choice now though...and that he made it so you can completely remove Blur if you want. Only problem with that is getting it back lol

Does anyone have an updated link for this ROM? I'm now rooted and applied foreverroot script and am thinking maybe going all the way here....
