Another question....does anyone have any issues regarding google maps KILLING their battery each time single handedly? I have noticed that Google Maps usually consumes around 43% or more of my battery. I have used titanium backup to disable the program, and unfreeze it whenever I need to use maps....its a little bit of a hassle...was just wondering if anyone else has this problem. Its definitely not rom/phone specific either, as I have seen this problem all over. I have disabled gps as well as location via wifi....and still this problem persists...

I think that's just you, but I can't imagine why. I certainly don't have this issue.

for some reason. btw i did a clean flash. but for some reason when my phone rings it doesnt ring on the speaker as the way i wanted it. it ring from the handset ear part. why is that? i flashed 3x already. same result. how do i go about fixing that.thanks in advance

Nice to see that this project isn't just a pipe dream. Good work bud! Keep up the good work. I personally enjoy CM7 so nice to see another option.

Known issue, supposed to be resolved in the next release.

As blarf mentioned there should be quite a few fixes in this next build. The IHO in the name stands for inferiorhumanorgans. This build is completely built from his work. After this though I will start removing CM features. So, if you want or like all of the CM features you can certainly fork his source and try your hand at compiling it yourself.

What are you thinking of taking out of the rom? To me the above statement throws up a red flag..?

Anyone else have problems with MMS not sending? I've looked through most posts on this thread and haven't seen anyone mention it, but that's one of the few issues I'm having. Tried sending a few last night, and they wouldn't go through...but as soon as I switched back to Reborn, they sent just fine. I tried sending them through GoSms, Handcent, AND the stock messaging app, with no luck.

Only other problems I had seem to already have been taken care of, such as the low speakerphone volume.

So far, this ROM is pretty great, awesome job ath3nos!

I enjoy having any new rom for my optimus s, but i dont agree with stripping cm7 of all the things that makes it awsome, just my opinion, also what are you planning to do with the rom after you take away all the cm7 parts

I had the exact same problem except it said sent on my end but aid file was deleted on there's. I switch back to reborn and they all sent with no problems... but excellant work!

Same, it would say sent on my end, but friend was just receiving blank texts. Good to know it wasn't just me. Just put the updated version back on my phone, going to test out MMS again, using the bf as a guinea pig since he's here at the moment. LMAO

The code for sending MMSs is stock, receiving code is not (to deal with how Virgin encodes their incoming MMS messages). If you do have a repeatable problem sending please get the relevant bits from the phone's logs and open an issue on Github here: https://github.com/inferiorhumanorgans/android_frameworks_base/issues

I pulled the APN config stuff from Zefie's ROM, if there are changes that need to be made to /that/, open an issue here:

https://github.com/inferiorhumanorgans/android_device_lge_thunderc/issues

If the APN stuff is good to go, I'll push it to Gerrit so that the main CM7 branch will have the proper MMS config stuff from the get-go.
