just updated and came over from Reborn. So far I. Really liking this ROM. Thanks guys!

It seems that my facebook photos no longer show up in my contacts. The facebook contacts are there but no images.

Anyone seen this before? Is it a ROM issue, a Gingerbread issue, or some new facebook issue?

I have the same problem with Grom, I found a sync option in the new Facebook app. Seemed to allow me to sync my contact, but still no photo's. I also would like to import contacts photo's, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you guys for the awesome ROM!! I just FINALLY got it all put together in my phone. The only thing is, is it supposed to take about 5 minutes to boot up? When I reboot it, it goes pretty quickly until it gets to the "android" screen and it sits there for about 5 mins (so far as Ive counted) maybe longer. Is there any way I can get around that? Otherwise, Your MOM is AWESOME!!!! THANK YOU ALL for help me hobble along and get it done!!!

First, great rom. I've been on it since the start. However I've run into a snag. I've been getting some mms's lately and every time I try to open I get a force close. So, thought maybe something I had down loaded was the culprit. I did fresh flash, but still get fc's. So flashed grom and problem solved. I like mom rom, but I like my mms's also. Anyway, just thought the devs would want to know. And if this is a known problem then sorry for the repeat. Thanks for all your work. Can't wait for hydo!

After the YourMom-reboot-plusCRT-ICS-noIQ.zip mod is installed, battery use counter DOES NOT reset after plugging and unplugging phone, so an accurate view of how long your phone has been on battery is not available.

can someone help me please i installed your mom rom...i think it was saturday..since then my phone freezes up then reboots itself......i wipe everything ( delvek, mount, cache ) before i flashed. is anyone else having this problem? also i have a debug-format system.zip file, should i start over and flash debug format before i flash the rom? thanks in advance

no i did not mess with the cpu, i have no frills cpu controls app, and it says
max 600mhz min 245mhz, ondemand-governor,sio- i/0 scheduler...should that be the setting from
your mom?

ok i will flash again in this order
wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, format system (under mounts and storage)
flash debug-format, flash your mom rom. load androd go back to recovery flash no-iq.zip..
ohh and flash gingerkernel 8......

Not here to bash but this ROM causes nothing but issues... Me and my girl have identical issues:
Random Reboots/Freezes, Can't access System Ringtones (Reboots), Frequent Lockups (Dialed a number and screen turned black and wouldn't come back on for about 2 mins) Camera/Camcorder Force Closes... I can probably name more but I'd rather waste the time flashing something else...

Yes I flashed the rom... Let it boot & then flashed the extra zip...

im also fighting a constant freeze and reboot issue cant figure it out, started over with flashing the rom even did debug-format, then no-ig.zip still freezes and reboot :-(

I noticed while restoring my apps I restored/uninstalled some system apps that were needed... My fault... BUT I am having problems charging my phone it's been on the charger for 30 mins and its still at 1%... If I turn the device OFF or go to the Recovery it will charge, Just not while booted into the rom...

I believe you are running into one of the VH firmware issues. Make sure you are charging using either the OEM charger or direct from a PC with the correct LG drivers for the phone. Otherwise it will charge incredibly slow and also the rom won't recognize that it's charging. At least that's my experience.

Not to jump on the band wagon, but Ive been running this ROM for 2 days now, and Im TOTALLY not to sharpest tool in the shed (most of you know that by now if you read any of my posts lol), But Im pretty sure I did everything right after almost a week of messing with my crazy phone. I started from a clean slate, wiped everything, and started with a new SDcard. Once I finally got everything up and running, It ran alright for about a day or so, then it just kept coming with the force closes. the freezing, pretty much the same as what was happening to Igtheatta's phones. And now Ive been working all afternoon trying to do a clean wipe and a clean reload, but Im sure im missing something somewhere, because now all I can get to is the "android" screen flashing and flashing. it flashes for about 15 mins then just freezes. Im really hoping (pretty sure of it) that it's "operator error" LOL but I may have to try another ROM for now. Until HydroROM comes out. Any news on that one?

wow dude, just....wow.

if you were located closer to me, i would so come and help you out.

place ROM file and debug-format SYSTEM. zip and noiq.zip patch on root of SD card.

boot into recovery

wipe data. wipe cache. wipe dalvik cache (advanced>wipe dalvik)

in "mounts/storage"

wipe boot
wipe system
wipe data
wipe cache

flash debug-format SYSTEM.zip
flash Your Mom Rom.zip.

Reboot into android.

Once FULLY booted (wait 15 mins for phone to boot fully, just to be extra sure)

Power down.

Reboot into recovery.

Flash noiq patch.

Reboot.

This is the cleanest install you are going to get. Flash drews kernel update. Some charging problems are arising from there, but it fixes the double tap. He has a fix underway. Not sure when he is releasing it.

I fixed my charge issues by turning off the phone while plugged in letting it charge all the way to full basically a lit up battery icon from there boot into recovery and wipe stats... I unplugged the charger right before rebooting... I was at 100% when the phone booted I let it drain to 0. Now I have no issues with charging on any charger...

I have this Tom on my sons phone and its perfect with the exception that none of his paid market apps are showing as paid for. I had a similar situation on my evo and photon where they show up in "my apps" but not paid. Any ideas?

Go to settings and stop that app from running, then clear the cache... then see once you log back in,...
