Just flashed it....NICE JOB! nice clean look! why doesn't anyone ever add titanium back up to thepreinstalled apps for any of the roms? isn't it pretty much a standard utility?

Can it be assumed that this is prone to many of the zvh quirkiness (i.e. the hated double-tap, charging issues, ect)?

Yes, unfortunately you will still experience the wrath of the the ZVH bugs from time to time. Now, I will not guarantee this, but I feel like it happens a little less while running this Rom, but I make no promises there.

Data2ext support?

Any vh issues like double ttappinng? Lol

Data2ext support is not built into the Rom currently, but you can try these instructions as they should work fine:

i'm fine with that if they are in the drop down.. i mainly wanted to know about the theme.. i have a whole 49ers thing going on with everything.. ie launcher, messaging, app drawer.. still havn't tryed to figure out how to go about changing the keyboard or dialer yet

Ok, let me clarify. Your current theme you are building will disable the power controls in the drop down menu. They will go away, but the theme and Rom will work just fine. You will have to rebuild you theme using the files in this Rom in order to retain the power controls in the drop down.

only thing i see that can get annoying.. it you get a few notificating (in my case restoring some apps) the icons cover the clock..

Yes, that was noticed when that mod was completed. But in all reality, you are just going to clear those restore notifications when your finished right. So it is kind of temporary. There is still quite a bit of room up there to allow for other running program notification icons before they hit the clock. You should have seen it before, lol, anytime a text notification was recieved and flashed up there, it had a transparent background and both the clock and the message was unreadable....... that had to be fixed.

Once things get worked out a bit more, we can post a flashable zip to return the clock back to its normal spot for those who would like it that way, no problem.

No, with this port, they are permanent.

Great work!!! A few questions:

1. - What is the ETA of the signed version of v1.0?

2. - Is it possible for you to build-in Data2Ext support into the ROM before v1.0 is released?

3. - Is it possible for you to build-in the 'ButtonsWake.zip' functionality, so that we can 'wake up' the phone via any of the 4 menu buttons below on the LG Optimus S, rather than only by the Power Button?

4. - I know this is 'ultra debloated' so the Sprint Apps have been taken out. Are we able to still use this file: SprintApp.zip in order to add these Sprint Apps back into the ROM?

5. - Will this be compatible with the current version of 'Xionia Clockwork (CWMA v1.2518.6)' ?

6. - Can you build-in a few essential .APKs into the ROM such as:

- Wireless Tether App

- ConnectBot (For SSH)

- TerminalEmulator (Shell)

- Built-in FTP Server (Over WiFi or USB-tethered)

- Titanium Backup

- SetCPU

7. - Will any of the RebornROM Themes, or Themes from other specific ROMs...be fully compatible with this new ROM, without breaking the Power Toggles or anything else for that matter?

8. - For those of us that are running RebornROM v2.2.4 on ZVD, could you please outline the specific/exact steps of what we need to do in order to safely upgrade or flash to the new v1.0 of this ROM?

I'm sure we will take a look at that cache issue.

If you are using titanium pro, you can create a flashable zip on your SD card from within the app. Look under the more section of the menu. Then you can just flash that once you install a new Rom.

I think I tried that once, but I got a 'non-signed' failure or something. How do we deactivate that? I know we have to in order to flash this Alpha release.

Can we add the built-in Flash player as well???

i tryed that once w/ optirom..didn't seem to ever work..works perfect though in gRom.. my backup in titanium for the flash player in grom turns out to be data only.. i'll have to get the apk back and try it in this rom.. is it me or does there seem like there is more internal space with this vs any other roms i'v seen

Screen sensitivity is fine for me. Installed the white mms zip and updated Swype. Seems great so far.

What I really want people to test is overclocking. I know with Opti-ROM and gROM there is an issue where the screen can become garbled when overclocking.

During testing, jstntp didn't have that issue at all so we want to get community feedback regarding that issue.

seems good here..swype good,so far no double taps! Only thing iv notice was the clock.. i do have a issue with go launcher... i replaced with go.. when i reboot i lget 'widet not found' on the screen... idk if thats the rom..

No, with this port, they are permanent.

So there's no longer a way to edit the widgets.txt to add/remove the icons? Is this just due to the "skinning" of the buttons now? If that's the case, I think that I and quite a few others might instead appreciate the option to instead modify that as we'd like (not to seem ungrateful or anything), as in Reborn. If not, is it possible to (through donation) request a specific layout? I'd really love to get a "Wireless|Bluetooth|Brightness|Rotation" version if at all possible. The five icons I've always found a bit too small on the Optimus to easily hit when doing it quickly (very easy to hit the one beside it). Plus, I tend to just use the "Silent Mode" option that's on the menu that pops up when you long-press the power button, so that sorta negates the need to waste a spot in the dropdown for "Silent/Vibrate".

I'm sure many others have totally different usage patters though.

Please do let me know if a custom flashable zip to change it might be possible though... I'd be more than willing to pay for the modification.
