Ok... noob question - I'm currently on 2.2 using Rom-midnight 3.3. I am rooted and using CWM3/EXT4. If I do the process in the 1st post, it wil re-root my phone, and I can then flash EB13. Correct?
Or will this install EB13 in the process?
Will this effect my ROM?
Will I still be able to use midnight 3.3?
I saw a post that this process will take you back to CWM2.xxx. If my current ROM is EXT4 only (which I believe it is), will I be able to run my ROM?
will a backup from cwm3 be able to be restored on cwm2?
i dont know why im having so much trouble with this, but can someone post a video doing this ?
Ok - this may be a simple question that has been answered numerous times in these threads, but.... how do I get to EB13? I saw links, but am a little confused.
My phone says:
Firmware: 2.2.1
Kernel 2.6.32.9
Build: midnight ROM 3.3
I know for sure that I am running a ROM w/EXT4, & CWM3, on Froyo 2.2. And it seems that to get EB13, i would have to Odin back to DI18 to get to EB13 (if I correctly understand the process).
With the response made by Ragnarokx (thanks so much), I think I should stay on DK28 until ROMs are release that are EB13 compatible.
Everything is running great on my phone. I don't know if I should go to EB13 just yet. :-\
Did you flash the deodexed ROM and EXT4 kernel as stated in the instructions?
