Temp root didn't take.. what happened when it said executing rage?

I just read Adryn's post that said you can flash cwm via odin, then just flash the su-busy bo via cwr, has anyone confirmed this method?

Yes - I did this last night and it worked. Make sure after you CWM via odin, boot straight to CRW (up, down, power) and then run the zip you have already placed on the sd card.

That appeared to be the problem. Disabled Microsoft Security Essentials and it pushed. Next problem after the push the screen timed out before I could get to it and looks like I will have to start over. Got device not found after it started to try the exploit. Will have to wait untill after work now.

Think I will be doing this tonight and debloat and deodex myself. If I delete Bing Search, will my FS default to Google? It has Google Voice search on it, but I am not sure if the quick key will work.

NO, I knew it worked on the older versions, I just did not know if it would work for ED01. Sorry, didn't mean to hurt your feelings. So Sensitive :'(

It is a much easier way to root.

I am having a heck of a time using one-click root. I have looked and I cannot find the OP on how to root using ODIN. Can someone please post the link.

Can't get link to work, but check the ROOT FIRST TIME WALK TROUGH. It is the 3rd post I think

Need Help with Root

My facinate was rooted and when the OTA Froyo update I lost my wireless hotspot. I went through the root actions again but still no progress. What are the next steps to solve my issue. The wireless hotspot function says not rooted, and I do not receive superuser request

apologies, newbie here again. had the same problem and tried to do adb, but i get "'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file" and just keeps me at the C:\FascinateRoot_v02 path. Am i doiing something wrong? or have the wrong files for root?

still no worky for me..No GPS before OTA 2.2.1 with a BRAND NEW phone....no GPS after. Well I did lock in once in the pacific ocean LOL. I wanted to reroot to use the GPS fix but no go homeys! Ill try to odin it later I guess..

While I did not do the "official" OTA I did upgrade to ED01 via Adrynalyne Fast way to ED01.

Like you in this thread I was unable to achieve root..

Nemesis2all has a zip over at XDA [MOD][4.21.11] New Superuser package Root your Fascinate - xda-developers

This will give you root access. If you are like me you might need to use CWM via ODIN.

one click root problem on ED01

The one click root process breaks down on the mount command as shown above:
mount: Operation not permitted

I'm hoping for a revision of the one-click root or any other way to root ED01 without using CWM, since that makes future OTA updates a lot harder than just unrooting.
