In the process of rooting right now. I tried the adb way and couldn't get passed step 4, it would not recognize the PG05IMG.zip file. So now I'm using easy root and so far so good. It's updating in bootloader as I type

When it doesn't recognize PG05IMG its probably cuz you have to format your sdcard to fat32

Same here. adb is chinese to me. I did root my incredible but that we super easy.

After I got rooted, I was installing a ROM and noticed that the splash screen I was about to install was named "PG05IMG.zip.zip". After renaming it to PG05IMG on the root of the SD card, It installed with no problems.
