Rooted last night using upstream & cory's walk-through for the mac. 100% flawless install. I then flashed to Adrenlyne's latest ROM and kernel. Used ADB and the terminal. Happy!

Miami spent over an hour (maybe 2) rooting my phone. I never would have been able to do it.

Everything is working perfectly, including what I thought was an issue with the bluetooth.

Looking forward to using the phone as a wireless tether to my iPad (if that every arrives).

I feel the need to ask: what is an unlocked bootloader and what options does it provide over rooting? How does it tie in to rooting? Also will an easier method of rooting come out eventually for noobies and will it always wipe the device without any way of backing up/restoring beforehand?

Even though I am not 100% sure what he did, Miami got me taken care of. Took about 1.5 hrs to get me rooted.
