Mine was never bad but the first thing I noticed is that you no longer have to press hard on the screen for it to read your finger, the softest touch unlocks it immediately.

Again, FPS is not going to magically be fixed with one update. It will take months to fix issues that over a million buyers are experiencing.

You probably should have returned the phone. Not everyone is having issues with the FPS. Let's hope software updates fix the FPS.

Anyone having major problems with the FPS should push for replacement as a warranty issue. I'm not thrilled with it but the problem for me is more of a moderate annoyance. If it were working less than 20 percent of the time I would be hounding Samsung to replace it.
