S20 Firmware For Odin Flash?

Hi I have just joined this. I also would like some help with a Samsung SM-G981B S20 5G.

My phone is unlocked and running original Firmware but I have Rooted it with TWRP and MAGISK.

What I want to know is, at the moment the Boot shows the THREE NETWORK which is what it was originally on. I want to change the BOOT from THREE to either VODAFONE, EE or just a Plain BTU Boot. I have downloaded the FIRMWARE from Sam Mobile, I have ODIN. I just need to know the way to flash it to get rid of the THREE NETWORK. I also am wondering can I do this without having to WIPE the phone and keep all my SETTINGS and APPS. I did originally use the BTU Firmware when I flashed it previous but the THREE NETWORK is still there. I dont think it was there until I put my NETWORK on and it updated, then it came back.

SO What I want to do is, remove the THREE BRANDING and change to to just unlocked or at least a NETWORK I am using. Ideally would like to do this without resetting or wiping but if I have to then will. Thanks. . . The other thing I have done is use up_param_tar to remove the Boot Loader Message also. It has TWRP and MAGISK.

Thanks and hope I can be helped. . .
Hi welcome to AC!

You have the international version explains how your rooted:) dual sim?
Best place for you would be xda forums on this .

No, I'm not aware.

Once I do that let's say I never use ATT postpaid, can this operate for ATT MNVO's?

You can switch back and forth between carrier firmware and unlocked, I would make sure your Att phone is sim unlocked and then everything should be OK.

You can download the frija tool for firmwares and download it from there

Does anyone know if there are any significant differences between the TMK (metropcs) an TMB (t-mobile)? I just bought a Verizon S20U, plugged it into my MPCS , and really have been dying to switch it to either one to get rid of VZWs bloat and whatnot. I've been out of the root and flashing game for like 8 years so I feel like a newb again.

From what I can understand, the correct way to swap would be to flash the SM-G988U1 region XAA firmware from Frija 1st using Odin (3.14.1 patched), wiping everything by checking CSC (I don't see HOME-CSC) but no USERDATA, do the sim card carrier install, and then re-flash the SM-G988U region TMB/TMK firmware w/USERDATA?

If this is correct the only thing I waiting to figure out is if I should use TMK or TMB, though I'd love to be able to keep all my apps and stuff instead of transferring and setting it all up again.

Going from carrier version SM-G988U to unlocked
SM-G988U1 will require Prince Comsey Odin the latest and can use TMB or Xaa as the unlocked version all have same build. Download that odin and frija firmware tool from xda site . This will always factory reset going to unlocked firmware or carrier, only when your on the same carrier going to be the build or unlocked going to next build can use home csc to not factory reset.

When I flashed the 988U TMB on Odin and added USERDATA for the t-mobile apps, after doing a clean flash to U1, it just loaded back to verizon boot and bloat

You sure you on U1, it doesn't add any carrier bloat , check settings>about phone software
