Female horse fly(more distinctly separated eyes.) Male horse fly, eyes meet wirh less off a distinguishing separation. The females are known to be bitters and can be quite painful. But this one was docile.

Blue mud dobber caught after waiting 10 minutes for it to settle down.
Amazing photos especially of the horseflies.
 
A large Bee on a flower. Difficult to get focused when you are using 10x and they're moving from flower to flower.
I found it much easier to get close shots with my Huawei mate 20 pro using macro.

Great shot! I always like flower photos better when they include bees or butterflies.
 
Great shots! You're brave getting that close to a wasp.

Most of em I've learned as long as you take it easy and don't make any sudden, rapid movements or of course swatting, they won't be much inclined to sting. I'm sure eventually I will run up on one that will not be quite as docile as these have been.
