S6 Edge bluetooth issues?

Hi All - I used to have the S5 and was playing Spotify via Bluetooth onto my car stereo system which is a Dodge Journey with the UConnect system. All worked fine. Recently got the S6 Edge and now can't get it to remain connected for more than 30 seconds. Phone says Bluetooth has unexpectedly stopped working. Is this an issue that anybody else has had, and if so, any fixes?

I had that same issue a few days ago, in my Mazda. All I did was unpair them, then pair them again. No problems since.

I have Mercedes C300 and sometimes when I make a call from the car once it starts dialing the Bluetooth loses the connection. I may try to delete it and re-pair it and see if that helps.

I have been having the same issue. Not only with my car (BMW 550xi) but also with jaybirds earphones and ueboom speaker. The same error (BT has unexpectedly stopped working) message pops up after 30-60 seconds after it connects. I read somewhere to clear the BT cache but that hasn't helped at all. Not sure what else to do other than a factory reset or exchange for a new device.

Haven't had this issue. I use a BT receiver in my car for audio streams, and the car itself has BT phone connectivity. No problems with either.

I can't remember which phone but this is what I did when I had problems.

I just had a problem with my Moto 360 and my car being removed as Bluetooth trusted devices on my verizon S6 edge. Had to add them both back.

Thanks all - actually managed to get it working today.... for 45 seconds of a song, and then the phone totally shut down. Think I'll just use my wife's S5 for bluetoothing Spotify until fixes come!!

No problems for me thank god. I use Bluetooth everyday at the gym with no issue. I also use Bluetooth in the car without issue. Sorry for those having problems. I would look into exchanging for another.

My New GALAXY S6 Edge is great - but the bluetooth issues are madening!
It connects fion to my 2015 Toyota Avalon. but then after a few minutes - it cust out. then reconnects.
Iyt does this constantly. My old phone - Galaxay 3S Never had this problem in this car! How can this be fixed? Is Samsung addressing this with a fix? I depend on Bluetooth for clalls and music! I have uninstalled and reinstalled. but the same problem occurs. This is not onlyupsetting - but very unsafe!

I have 2014 Avalon and it plays without any issues, milk, Pandora, stored music to the phone, either option.

I have the exact same problem in my BMW 335xi twin turbo. It will play for about 1 minute, then "skip", play 5 seconds more, then "skip a lot" then cut out. Then Bluetooth reconnects, music starts again. REPEAT. IT'S MADDENING. It actually started with my Samsung GS5 in the last month too. This is ridiculous and Samsung is ($&*%& clueless. NOT HAPPY. I hate Apple but I may return....

BTW, I have paired/unpaired bluetooth dozens of times. It started on my S5 once I loaded the Lollipop upgrade. The S6 Edge has had the problem the entire time. I wish Google would work with car manufactures like Apple so we can plug directly to the car (I could with my Apple and see playlists, etc. on my car screen). Ugh!

2015 Ford F150 Lariat, same issue as others where my AT&T S6 Edge BT connection disconnects. I've unpaired and repaired at least 6 times with the same results.
No issue with my LG3 or my daughters iPhone6.... This issue is making me  with no help from AT&T Tech Support

Anyone get a force close when using Pandora and using Bluetooth to sync with their radio? Don't know why I'm getting issues like this every time I sync it with my radio..

I'm experience a similar issue on my S6 (not the Edge), which I reported over in that section. My BT music will play for about 30 mins, then suddenly just STOPS playing - like it went to PAUSE mode. I simply press the PLAY button on the APP & it continues. I've UNPAIRED & rePAIRED, I've tried 3 different music APPS. This is insane. My older RAZR MAX HD never had this issue with BT.

SO I replaced my S4 with an S6 in May...had problems maintaining a connection with my 2015 Subaru...It would connect, but drop the Bluetooth every time I turned the car off....seems to be a common problem...Went round and round with both Verizon and Samsung Tech support...every agent had some different idea, but nothing worked....finally I called the Subaru Service guys, who told me to delete the S4 info, before pairing with the S6...and Viola!!!! SO why didn't doesn't Samsung know this???????????????????

I'm having the same problem with my 2015 Toyota Tacoma (dropping out constantly), and it won't connect to my Phillips bluetooth headphones at all... My HTC one worked fine with both
