S7 Edge speaker

1st thoughts. Got my Edge today, got it all set up and everything migrated of the old phone.

1 St impression, holding it feels good. That slight curved bottom makes a MASSIVE difference. It's not a gimmick. It's a pleasure to hold. Small digression but it needed to be said.

The speaker. I don't like it. Actually I hate it so far. It seems like an 80s tin sounding mono speaker.

Is this me or do other people agree? I now it's a small thing but....

(Much better phone than the s6 edge +, form factor, responsiveness of touchwiz. Pleased so far (as long as it's not making noise ) )

Yeah the speaker grill is probably the biggest / only let down of this phone. They need to save something to improve on with the S8

I use a headset. SOUNDS GREAT!

I was surprised it was put at the bottom of the phone. The way I hold my phone sometimes i end up covering the bottom up totally. With my S5, i would hold it and use my hand to create a cup so the sound from the back would bounce of the hand and sound louder. Can't do that with this, makes holding it awkward.
