About the internal cooling system in the S7? I think it's a pretty good idea.

I think it will help not only when the CPU is under load, but also with lag and stutter in the UI (hopefully)

I'm pretty sure it won't leak, if that's what you mean

However, it also probably isn't very effective. The Lumia 950 range comes with liquid cooling and it apparently doesn't fix the heat issues.

I'm thinking one of the big benefits of this will be for those using Samsung gear VR headsets. There's an issue when you use it for very long, the phone overheats and you get a message saying to give the headset a break and allow it to cool down.

I would be surprised if Samsung at least tried beyond marketing hype, since they want to push Gear VR use and the previous devices simply get too hot. Not sure how much they can do though. Small device footprint and same nM chip, but even faster. Interesting.
