S7 Edge will not turn off without password help!!!

I got drunk last night, changed the password on my phone and cannot seem to get into it. I can't seem to turn my phone off without the password either. Is there any way to back up the files on my phone and any way to hard reset it? I have a feeling I'm screwed but trying to remain hopeful lol. It says it needs my password to turn the phone off.

Unfortunately you will need your password to do anything. Sorry I didn't have better news for you.

Oh dear.

I think there may still be a way. Was your S7 logged into your Samsung Account? If so, I believe it may be possible to unlock or even go through your Google Account and do it. Log into either account on your laptop.
