S8 moisture detected charging port

Since this morning getting moisture detected in usb port, strange as it happened as soon as I removed from overnight charge, last night also updated to latest update, anyway I can still charge the phone in safe mode if I leave charger plugged in and go back to normal mode phone charges fine until I unplug charger again.

Anyone know what could be the problem?

Same problem here. Hoping someone finds a solution. It doesn't happen in safe mode, so like you I can charge in safe mode. Also, if you power off the phone, then power on and immediately plug in the charger right when you see the first logo, you can charge and won't get the error. But as soon as you unplug the charger you will receive the error. Tried all the common fixes and spent time with a Samsung technician with no success. Hope someone finds a solution before I factory reset!

I did find solution for my s8 and after I charged phone to 100% in safe mode then rebooted in normal never seen error again yet.
