Samsung.com S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

No it was in a different store, but I have seen the prism blue on the S10e and it looks good. I could be fine with either color but just went with my first preference white.

I may go to a store tomorrow and see if they have them on display. Just haven't had the time.

I'm sure it varies greatly by area, but around here, the Best Buys only have Black and White on display. I finally found a Prism Blue to look at in person at a Verizon store, and even then, they had so much security crap stuck to the back of the phone, you couldn't see much of the blue.

I wish that they had all the colors on display. The BB near me also has black and that's it.

Shipped my girlfriend's trade-in phone today. Samsung sprung for FedEx Ground service. :( I wanted to upgrade the shipping, but couldn't. Tracking says it should be delivered to Fort Worth, TX on Wednesday. I'm anxious because I have to wait for them to receive and inspect it before they ship mine. :-)

A week later still says back ordered. Spoke to rep have no idea when will ship. Hopefully still 3/22.

Has anyone had to deal with Samsung for warranty? I've heard horror stories, might be easier to just return and go back to my note 9. I can dispute the charge with the credit card company and have them put the money on hold until they can see tracking of Samsung getting the phone back.

I did get the insurance thru Samsung, suppose to get next day replacement, covers warranty and damage, might give that a try, but I don't think they have any in have anyway. Lol

Generally they should have stock reserved for warranty and exchanges. Wouldn't hurt to calling them and giving a try.

I need to log onto my husbands account but I thought it said buds were being shipped with phone. He only got the phone and his LED wallet case.

Hey Rose,I didn't get the buds when I got my phone either. I ordered on the first night of preordering too,so it's strange that they ran out, in the "first" day of preordering!?? Doesn't make much sense! I know they have done fantastic sales on the S10,but running out of the promo on the first night? Anyway, my order says, to expect delivery in mid to late April! (You probably know this already! But I just now read your message and wanted to respond. Just in case! Did you ever decide what to do about your order,on the pink one?

Good luck! They should do a quick turn around for you, from what I've heard anyway! I just sent my trade in via FedEx to them today too! I made sure to take lots of pics before packing it up! Pics of it from every angle and even quick clips of me showing the video turning on,it's screen, etc! I wanted back up proof, in case they challenge anything about it. But it should be fine. My trade in looked brand new!(Thanks to my Otterbox Symmetry and my Tech 21 cases, which did a great job at protecting my phone.I ended up buying the same 2 brands of cases for my new S10+!!)

First contact... They don't do exchanges. Have to return phone then order a new one. Looks like I'll just be returning it and going back to my note 9. Lesson learned.. Buy from Verizon now on, definitely stay away from Samsung direct.

I have premium care, so have to call them in morning, as I reminded them how premium care says problems with your phone, we will get you a new one next day even if you damage it. I'll see how that goes. I also may have to call fed ex and see if I can get my note 8 sent back. If I return the phone then I have to call and dispute the charge also.

Either way never again direct Samsung.

Let me know how it works out for you. Ive been wondering if I should add that device coverage on my new S10+. I wasn't sure, because though I haven't had to use it before, I've always purchased Verizon's insurance. I suppose you can't get it through Verizon if you buy your phone directly from Samsung. I need to call and ask them, but still interested in how difficult it is if you ever need to use it!
