Samsung.com S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

My order was shipped today which I was surprised because it originally had a ship date of March 15th. I'm so excited. It will arrive by FedEx March 11th. The earbuds says it will be shipped in the middle of April. Now I just need to pick up a case and order my whitestone dome.


Does anyone know when my card will be charged? I thought was once the item was shipped. Maybe on Monday since its the weekend? I just dont see anyting pending and the hold was already removed.

When was ur cancel button removed, mine got removed last night. Still not shipping update. to be fair, my shi by date is 03/22
 
It took about 24 hours between my cancel button being removed and the phone shipping. My button disappeared sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning and the phone shipped on Friday before noon.

Welp. I sent an email to customer support hoping I get a straight answer from Samsung about what's going on with my order. Up to now, I gave seen anyone else with the "Will ship by 3/8" status that hasn't seen movement. So if customer support doesn't email me back with a clear answer I'm just going to cancel the order and move on.
 
My 2/22 order finally shipped today!! Arriving March 12 although it said March 15 originally. 128GB plus Tmo prism blue model.
 
Still no update :( entire day passed without cancel button. Anyone who order was supposed to ship on 03/22 (S10 plus white unlocked) and has shipped?

Still no shipping info here. I got 128gb unlocked prism white. Supposed to ship 3/22 however I think I'll get it this week.
 
This is the first time I bought a phone somewhere other then Verizon.

I ordered the Verizon version thru Samsung, paid for it, did not do device payments. I elected to do the sim card thru Samsung. Question... Will slimy, greedy Verizon still nail me the BS $30 activation fee? Would I be better to just use my sim card from my note 9.

I predict that since it's Verizon, there will be hiccups to activating this phone.

Samsung is pretty good about the fine print. Check your invoice! I am doing a DPP because it's convenient for me and Samsung plugged the $30 fee on my next bill, and reminded me no less than 3 times. I know it's coming.

That $30 fee is specifically an upgrade fee. Your technicality is that you bought outright.
 
Yay! Finally received an email from Samsung and my White Ceramic 1TB has shipped! Expect delivery on the 12th!! My free buds are backordered until the end of April, but it's nice that they finally got around to my order since I placed that order at 2am on the night preordering went live..Now to find a case!

I just checked my email from Samsung, my order, and my invoice on Samsung site, there is no mention of the $30 fee anywhere. Time will tell... Lol

Which phone, color, and carrier model did you order? I wonder if specific ones are delayed? I ordered an AT&T Prism White on 3/1 and it had a ship by date of 3/15, but it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow (3/11) by 8 pm. I verified that with FedEx site.

I will give Samsung thumbs up on this release. They aren't promising all preorders on release day, giving out different ship by dates, and they are communicating with customers on delays. In past they promised all preorder deliveries by release date and said nothing when they were late.

I've looked at a couple other pre-order threads and they are having same issues as Samsung direct. It's just the way pre-orders work.

Yeah the only mistake I made was calling their customer service. They haven't a clue about anything but it's cool that I at least got an email back.

Now if it's next Wednesday and I still haven't seen anything, that'll be another story.

Their customer service sucks. If the automated process of ordering, shipping works, then this time Samsung has improved over previous releases. If there is a hiccup and you need to deal with their customer service, well then you're in for a nightmare journey.
 
Now Samsung told be that there are delays because of higher than expected demand and that my order has no exact shipping timeframe, but they are shipping me a $25 promo code.
