Samsung (direct from them): Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

I placed my order on the 7th. Supposed to ship by 15th. But still says preorder and the preauth on my cc disappeared. I'm calling Samsung now. Been on hold already 10 min. The automated message says wait time will be more than 30 minutes because of extremely high call volume. Lol. They suggest I fill out the request form on the website and someone will get back to me within 24 hours. I did that 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for a response. Such a joke with these people.
I am on hold for 1 hr 10 mins. lol good luck
 
Anybody order the Verizon version on 9/5 or after get a shipping notice yet? My confirmation email on the day I bought it said 9/14 arrival but no change online so that isn't happening. Still preorder status on Sammy website.
Ordered 9/8 and nothing has changed.
 
If any of us 9/5 or after VERIZON version guys get a change in status we should let. each other know.
 
You just got lucky. I did the note 7 promo with the SD card and wireless charger and I did not get a memory card yet, 128 or 256. The card still says preorder on samung order. Ordered on the 4th and got the delivery today.
 
The bot that I spoke to at Samsung e-commerce told me there were two shipments planned for Note 7 owners, one batch shipped on 9/7 and the next batch is shipping 9/14. That doesn't make me feel any better since I still won't get the phone until after the 15th. Plus, I doubt he knows what he's talking about.

I feel like reading all of these comments that Samsung Reps are just sitting in their underwear watching tv and just make up whatever they want. Every story is different :)
 
No pending charges, no posted charges, no charge history, no email, no nothing.

TD bank is confused as to why this is happening, samsung's representative said this is a first and unique situation since she's never heard of something like that. That's when I knew I was in ****s creek.

Well I'll tell you we are similar but not quite the same (TD has the charge from Samsung, but Samsung doesn't recognize it). And I was told it was happening alot. And I've read on here it happened to at least one other person on this thread. So not really unique. But you said you cancelled and reordered right?

The bot I talked with ends up with a fight. She said it isn't shipped yet. Whereas, the previous bot told me I am supposed to get it tomorrow. When I asked, how come others ordered after me, got theirs, she replied, she is not responsible for them. When asked, I am note7 customer and I was supposed to get priority shipping, she said, note 7 customers has nothing to do with shipping, when said then why does it says that I will get preorder shipped by 11 Sep, the bot replied, that it means the shipping will start from that day, and I will get it after that. lol She had answer to all my questions.
Not to mention that, the bot was again from the third world country.

Yeah I was advised to reorder again (I canceled the moment they told me it was canceled out of frustration and anger), which was yesterday.

So now waiting (again.)

Also, did the person get it sorted out? How long did it take?

Or they ended up just using their CC instead?

What did they tell you after waiting for an hour and 10?
Anything useful?

I know technically the phones aren't late yet. But I have very little faith that they will ship when we were originally told. My first time having to deal with Samsung Customer Service and I have to say it's about as bad as I've seen anywhere.

Are you implying that third world people are lesser people or not smart enough?
