I ordered 26 Aug, ATT, former Note 7, and still my order is stuck in Preorder, and no response on the delivery update. Shame on you Samsung!! Screw you Samsung!!!!
Lets trend it on the social site. I want to abuse so bad, wish if the mods can let me abuse here. Oh.. I can do that on the Samsung USA facebook page. Bingo!!
Makes me even more glad I canceled and went with my carrier. Had my note for almost a week. Feel bad for everyone still waiting. I hope it arrives soon.
 
Hm, thats interesting, I went through the checkout process to see what the ETA was for order placed today and it stated orders placed today would start shipping "the week of September 17th."
Are you in Canada?
I ordered yesterday to get in on the wireless charger + SD Card deal.
 
The phone is in high demand guys. The delays are to be expected at this point. I know we're not used to this with Samsung phones, but realize that the Note hasn't been new for 2 years. If you didn't order early you can't expect to get the phone early.

I totally get that, I'm not so upset now at least I know it wont be shipped until October like I was told. I am upset however for others who clearly ordered on the first day and still haven't received their phones? While others ordered around the same day as myself, (sept 6) and they had their phones within 2 days. Just seems like things were not handled as they should have been.
 
It says in transit now, last scanned at the hub in Miami where it's been sitting since 9/9 due to Irma. It says "delivery date unavailable check back later" but when I go in UPS mychoice to the select delivery window time it gives a date of 9/15. Does that mean I still might get it tomorrow?

Mine said the same thing last week. I could only see the delivery date when signed in to mychoice. In hindsight I think you'll see you may a big deal out of nothing. You blamed Samsung an awful lot here for nothing. Irma delayed your note8. And they seem to have accepted my iPhone 5 trade, so stop spazzing over the trades too. I hear a lot of talk about the s8 trades, but how sure are you that people weren't sending in phones that didn't meet the requirements?

Most complaining didn't order 1st or they aren't note 7 customers. I ordered 1st day and got mine on 9/7. SAMSUNG only promised I'D get it by the 13th. Us with early deliveries got a bonus. That wasn't our entitlement. I see several here who had payment issues and one delayed by hurricane Irma. None of that is Samsung's fault. Not many posters I see on this thread truly got screwed in this preorder process. Just seems there are several who are being over dramatic.
 
Meh... I don't care when it gets here really.... I have my M S8+ anyway until then. Most of you shouldn't either to be honest. It's a phone. You'll survive the wait. You've survived this long without it.

Good to know the Note 8 is selling well. Just think, it could've been gone for good after last year. Sorry for your misfortune, but I think people who are mad at Samsung for this need to do some reflection. One lesson is say many should learn if they are impatient, is ORDER FIRST DAY! I knew I wanted it asap, so I ordered as soon as preorders went live on 8/24. I was rewarded with a 9/7 delivery. Many complaints are from people who ordered days later. The Note has been absent 2 years. Demand was to be expected.

I have to disagree. It's very simple to say they are exaggerating because you aren't in the same situation as them. Just in this page of the thread I can see one person who was totally screwed over. Ordered on the 24th and received the same email as myself. There are others who ordered on the 26th and are on the same boat while some who ordered early September have their in their hand. How is that not Samsung's fault. Should the preorders not be fulfilled in the order that they were received. Not to mention posts I've seen on other forums about the same issue. There's definitely more than a handful of cases where the phone was ordered on the very first day and they haven't received the phone and won't be receiving it by tomorrow. So how is it not Samsung's fault that they weren't prioritized over those who ordered on the 26th or the 28th? Like I previously said, at the very least they could have been honest about the overwhelming number of orders and they should have provided more realistic delivery dates.

Agreed, I think that most people are just annoyed and frustrated with the poor customer service to be honest. I can wait as well, would like it ASAP, but got mine at a steal so now that I know when its shipping its smooth sailing. I honestly prefer saving the $400 + dollars by ordering through Samsung than to get it a week or two early, but better customer service would be awesome. As for the trade-ins I don't think anyone has anything to worry about I traded in a $20 cellphone I never used for the S8+ promo (fit all the requirements) and everything went smoothly then.
