Samsung fans, why are you buying the HTC One instead of the S4?

I've never gotten the bloated feeling about touchwiz that I got from sense.

Again, if that's your preference than more power to you but don't be ignorant of the information available or there.

Of course it can, unlike htc Samsung doesn't shove their "gimmicks" down your throat. That's why it's a ridiculous that people argue not getting the phone because of gimmicks

Yeah, I left the post as is for everyone's enjoyment... My auto correct seems to have a dirty mind as of late

i have a DNA and sense is far from bloated, drop test are a complete, joke, cannot say anything about gimmicks, each and every phone has it's strengths and weaknesses, and certain things you will not like about a phone.like HTC,Motorola and LG Samsung is far from perfect.

Personally I did from sense and touch wizz, the new sense is much better and lighter. Touch wizz is fine I just don't like the stupid icons and it has so many features you can turn off but you still can't delete those feature files to get back more storage.

Sense is notoriously bloated but has been getting better and I can't say anything about sense 5 yet. The point of the original comment though was that the touchwiz "gimicks" don't negatively impact the phone like htc people seem to think.

I'm certainly not saying drop tests are all that important but it shows that the aluminum unibody doesn't make a monumental difference when the phone drops. And when people just start ignoring facts and evidence and making claims blindly you start sounding like the apple fanboys.

I'm an apple fanboy, do I sound like a blind Apple fanboy? I think you meant the idiotic Apple fanboys that think Apple is perfect, not realfans like me that wish Apple would do so much better(because I know they can)

You're fine. We don't like the idiotic ones you've just described.

I've used iPhones for years and I have a mac so I'm a fan as well. But you know the ones I'm taking about who run around claiming their phone is the best because Steve Jobs told them it is and thinking apple invented notifications. I'm just saying don't start sounding like them

Oh hell no lol, I used to be like that, until I started seeing some features android had were just simply more convenient.

I wonder why anyone hasn't mentioned the following: "

I had the HTC One with me during my hands on time, and the difference is like night and day. For starters, the One is noticeably faster in every context. When flicking between screens, opening apps, and taking photos there was clear lag on the Galaxy S IV, whereas everything was almost instantaneous on the One. To be fair, this wasn't the final production version of the S IV, and who knows which processor was in the model I had. There's a chance it'll be faster at launch."

This was taken from gizmodo's Galaxy S4 hands-on. I'm not saying that S4 will have these issues but I think the older models have them. I had the first galaxy and it wasn't nearly as smooth as my brother's htc desire. I bought S2 and after one year of using it, it was around as smooth to operate as my bro's desire. My girlfriend bought S3 and she isn't s heavy user by any means and still she tells me that her phone has slowed down. My point of all this is that I've always thought that iphones have two things that are far superior to android devices: the premium feel and the absolutely freaking smooth using experience. This is htc one will achieve. The premium feel will be there and I also believe it will be more fluid to use. At least after awhile.

I'm not very familiar with either the One or the S4. I did, however use the One X for about 6 months. That was a terrible phone. Constantly locking up, stuttering or dying. Camera was great, but that was about it. Changed to the S3 and haven't looked back. They're not even in the same league. Needless to say, my next phone will be an S4. I don't think I could convinced to even try HTC again. Sorry.
